Maxine photographed our wedding and we couldn’t be happier with everything she did. She was relaxed, calm and fun throughout the day and when we had the photos back it genuinely felt as is we were there all over again! We cannot recommend Maxine enough, she was fab to get to know and it was a pleasure having her there with us xxx -

Amazing Wedding photographer
Our photographer was amazing so friendly and made us feel at easy all day long. She captured everyone and everything to make the memories there for a life time. She captured so many natural photos you’d never have know she was taking.
Our personal photos were so natural and looked amazing. Everyone has seen them and commented on how natural and stunning they are. I would definitely use Max again for any event I have.

From the moment we first met Maxine, we knew we were in the best hands. She instantly put us at ease with her warm personality, professionalism, and genuine excitement for our wedding. On our wedding day, Maxine was amazing. She balanced being wonderfully present with being effortlessly discreet — somehow everywhere at once without ever feeling intrusive. She guided us through portraits with calm, fun energy, while also capturing the candid, emotional moments we’ll cherish forever. Every detail, every laugh, every tear… she caught it all.

We decided to get married after nearly 20 years together but decided we didn’t want a big wedding but did want it to be special, intimate and just the 2 of us. We decided on Glen Yr Afon Country Hotel in Usk as the venue and then had to decide on how to capture the memories of our special day. Maxine was recommended to us and she was fantastic in every way. I met up with her at the venue of couple of weeks before the big day to talk about photo opportunities and look at the venue together. She has great communication skills and is very warm and friendly but also professional. She made our day as we were able to relax, walk around the garden and hotel and take relaxed photos. She captured our characters and relationship. I would highly recommend Maxine as a photographer at any event! -

Anazing Photograher!
We had a small family wedding and Maxine played a massive part in making it a very special day for us. She was so professional and supportive in the weeks prior to the wedding and really listened to what we both wanted.
Maxine made everyone feel at ease on the day and the photographs capture the mood and events in a perfect way.
Maxine made us feel special and nothing was too much trouble for her. We would recommend Maxine
without hesitation!

Hiring Maxine Howells Photography was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. Maxine brought a calming presence, exceptional professionalism and flawless organisation to the day. She connected effortlessly with our family and friends, making everyone feel at ease. Blending seamlessly into the background, she captured the most beautiful, natural moments of our wedding day.
The turnaround time was quick, and the quality of the final photos exceeded our expectations. It was so lovely to receive a beautifully presented gift box with all our final photos on a zip drive and a couple of pre printed photos all beautifully presented.
