We booked Gavin for our wedding at Foxtail Barns in May 2024 and were incredibly impressed with his service. We booked him nearly 2 years in advance but he was happy to take our booking and answer initial questions that we had which was really helpful. Gavin was extremely responsive in the weeks leading up to the wedding, including meeting in person ahead of the big day to align on what was important to us on the day and overall plan for the day. This really set our minds at ease that it was all in capable hands.
Gavin provided a selection of print outs to us on the actual day of the wedding during the wedding breakfast - we were incredibly impressed with this and loved seeing some initial photos! We also received preview photos the day after the wedding - again we were incredibly impressed with the speed these were turned round and also the photos provided. On the actual day Gavin wasn't intrusive at all - infact we were surprised at some of the pictures he managed to get as we didn't spot him taking a lot of them!
Gavin shared our final photos with us c.4 weeks after the wedding and we are blown away by the photos. He captured our day brilliantly and we were able to relive it going through all the photos.
We also had our dog at the wedding and Gavin captured some fantastic photos of him having listened to us saying how important this was to us.

Gavin was amazing from the start, I like to pose and be centre stage whereas my husband hates his picture being taken. Gavin was perfect with us both.
The photos that have come back are amazing - showing memories of the day that we hadn’t even noticed. Thank you so so much. -

Gavin was amazing - really professional and got all the best shots. We wanted a more candid style and he definitely delivered. The photos were edited and ready for viewing in a great time frame and we even got a personalised usb with case with them on as well.

We married at Browsholme Tithebarn in April 2025 and in the lead up to our wedding, Gavin was responsive and he suggested that we meet him at the venue to have a walk round to look at photo opportunities a month or so before our wedding. Gavin knew his stuff and made us feel like we could trust him to do a great job. He also brought a portfolio of his work for us to browse through which we thought was a nice touch.
On the day, Gavin and Dave were professional and got the photos we wanted without being too intrusive or “in your face”. Us as a group (consisting of the bride, groom, bridesmaids and groomsmen) were a bit rowdy and silly, but Gavin and Dave were able to round us up and get some fab shots!
A day or so after our wedding, we received a link to a preview of photos which we were very happy with. Then around 1 month after the wedding, we received a link to all of our photos. We were overwhelmed with the amount we received and how many precious moments they had captured! They also kindly agreed to film our ceremony as they are considering branching out into videography - the video is of high quality and we also very happy with this! The video was added to a USB stick that came in a lovely, personalised box which we were very thankful for - we were not expecting that!
We feel like Gavin and Dave went above and beyond for us. Their pricing is very reasonable and excellent value for money. We would absolutely recommend them to anyone! -

The Best Day Ever! Captured by Gavin
Gavin was so lovely as a photographer and spent the whole day with us. he listed to what we wanted and was a pleasure to work with.
We were really happy with the photos we got from Gavin - we had over 900 photos to chose from - so many great ones which we will cherish as lasting memories from our perfect day.
If you are looking for a photographer who is a great guy, reasonably priced, and will deliver some memorable photos - then Gavin is your guy!

Brilliant Photographer.
Gavin photographed our wedding at Ashton Memorial in April 2025. Gavin had good knowledge of the venue so he was able to get some brilliant shots without us having to stress about it. We had around 20 minutes of posed photos & then he just melted into the background & also got some brilliant candid shots. We were presently surprised to receive some print out pictures on the actual day of the wedding & we received some previews the next day. We received all of our pictures within around 4 weeks & we were extremely happy with them all. Communication was also great. I would definitely recommend. -

Our wedding day
Gavin was our photographer for our wedding and we are more than happy with the outcome of the photos , we had all sorts of shots and gavin and partner captured photos we would never dreamed of getting but fell in love with . From start to finish it was an amazing day and we now have memories to look back on forever thanks to him ! Super happy x -

Gavin was amazing throughout the whole process. Communication was clear from the offset and he was amazing on the day. He made sure everyone was relaxed and effortlessly captured all of our special moments from getting ready to the evening reception. Gavin and Dave went above and beyond to make sure they got all of the perfect shots and even created a video of a special moment from the day - nothing was too much trouble.
We can’t believe how many photos were taken and we are made up with them all. Gavin even sends out a personalised USB. I would not hesitate to book Gavin again for any special moments wanting to be captured. -

Gavin was an absolute star! We booked Gavin for our wedding at Castle Green Hotel in Kendal on 25th October 2024 and he played such a huge part in making our day special and ensuring we had nothing to worry about in documenting the day.
He had so many incredible ideas on how to use the wonderful gardens and get a wide variety of shots and was instrumental in directing us to ensure we got the most out of our time with him. We even got a few sample prints before we'd finished our main course which was an amazing touch.
We cannot thank you enough Gavin and we would recommend you to anyone and everyone. -
