Right from our very first conversation, we knew instantly Pele was the one. Our pre-engagement shoot and wedding day only confirmed what we already knew!
Pele’s time management is incredible. He is unbelievably organised and absolutely hilarious, which instantly takes away any awkwardness and settles any nerves on the day. He made us feel completely comfortable and relaxed, and honestly felt more like having a friend there than simply a photographer. From calming those emotional wedding morning nerves and keeping us laughing throughout the day, to standing with us at the altar and capturing every special moment so effortlessly, his presence was so reassuring, and that comfort shines through in every single photo.
One of the best things about Pele is how effortlessly he works. You hardly even know he’s there most of the time, yet somehow he captures the most stunning, natural and emotional moments, including the ones you didn’t even realise were happening. Nothing ever felt forced or staged, and that is exactly what made our photos so special.
Not only is Pele exceptionally talented, but he genuinely cares about making the whole experience unforgettable. His professionalism, passion and attention to detail are second to none.
And somehow, he exceeded our expectations even further by sending us preview photos the very next day after our wedding and our entire album less than a week later. We were absolutely blown away!
Our guests are still talking about him now, and so many of our other wedding suppliers commented on just how brilliant he is and how amazing he is to work alongside, which says everything.
We are so, so happy with every single photo Pele has taken and genuinely cannot wait to use him again for all future photo opportunities and milestones.
Please look nowhere else. Pele is an absolute MUST for any photoshoot you’re looking for going forward. Choosing Pele was one of the best decisions we made, and we truly cannot recommend him highly enough.

We honestly could not have asked for a better wedding photographer than Pele at Den Helder Weddings. From the moment he arrived, he felt less like a supplier and more like part of the family. He is so warm, attentive, present and was genuinely invested in making our day special.
He captured every moment so perfectly and naturally, somehow managing to catch all the little emotions and details we didn’t even realise were happening at the time. Our family and friends have not stopped talking about how incredible he was, not only because of his talent, but because of how comfortable and cared for he made everyone feel throughout the day.
One of the most touching personal touches was our sneak peek video being set to our first dance song. It was such a thoughtful detail and made reliving those first moments as newlyweds even more emotional and special.
And unbelievably, our full gallery came back within 72 hours! The quality, the emotion, the storytelling in every single shot… We were completely blown away.
Pele is truly exceptional at what he does and we feel so lucky to have had him capture our wedding day. We will treasure these memories forever. Thank you for everything — you were incredible from start to finish.

So happy!!!
Pele was absolutely amazing!! Communication was superb. He made us feel so comfortable right from the first meeting before the wedding. We had to work with rain, blinding sun and wind all on the same day, and he made it work!! He managed to get some amazing photos and even captured the moments between where we were just laughing because the weather was horrendous. He was very personable, great with kids and made all of our family feel so comfortable. Photos came back so quickly and he even made us an amazing slideshow to our first dance song. Would 1000% recommend, you won't be disappointed!Den Helder Weddings's reply:

Absolutely incredible photographer
Pele was absolutely incredible and captured our day perfectly! He absolutely exceeded our expectations and the photos turned out wonderfully. So many people complimented us on how beautiful the photos were and how lovely Pele was! He blended in throughout the day and captured some really special moments without us even realising. Picking a wedding Photographer is a difficult task as you want it to be perfect, rest assured - if you book Pele you will not be disappointed.
We can’t thank you enough Pele for being there and getting some magical shots! I’ve already recommended him to family and friends! -

The best photographer
We are so glad we chose Pele to be our photographer and knew this from our first phone call. He was always there to deal with any questions and was as enthusiastic about our wedding as we were.
Throughout the wedding Pele helped the day run smoothly and for large parts we forgot he was even there snapping away. Pele has an infectious way with people putting them at ease and when everyone at the wedding comments how good the photographer was you know you have chosen a good one.
The photos themselves have come out incredible and better than we could ever imagined.
A photographer is an integral part of the wedding and we are so glad it was Pele to be this person.

Pele is the man!
We couldn’t be happier with the photography services we received from Pele at Den Helder for our wedding. From start to finish, he was an absolute professional — calm, friendly, and incredibly organised. On the day, Pele helped us stay relaxed, effortlessly coordinated our guests, and made the whole process feel natural and stress-free.
The photos themselves are nothing short of stunning — every special moment beautifully captured, with a mix of candid shots and perfectly composed portraits. We’ve had so many compliments from family and friends, not only about how gorgeous the images are, but also about how wonderful Pele was to work with.

Couldn’t recommend enough!!
Pele is an absolutely amazing photographer and such a wonderful person. We’ve been very blessed by him throughout the whole process, he made us feel so at ease, comfortable and confident that we’d get great pictures on our special day.
We also had our free engagement shoot as part of the package which was the cherry on top. It was a great opportunity to meet him, get to know him before the actual day and get used to being in-front of the camera. Plus we got some precious photos that we treasure so much!
Leading up to the wedding Pele communicated really well, kept us up to date with plans and was really attentive to what we wanted to get from the day, which was really reassuring for us. He’s someone who made us feel really assured that the day was gonna run smoothly, not just in the photos but generally too. He’s been so kind and generous.
Our day went better than we could’ve expected and Pele played a huge part in that, lots of our friends and family were saying how amazing he was. Pele got there early and was so on it throughout the day and captured us the most amazing pictures that we absolutely LOVE ! We got our gallery through within a week and can’t stop looking through them all, it has been so worth every penny.
The way Pele went about his work was always with our best interests at heart and we really felt and experienced that. Pele’s photography skills are incredible but to have somebody who shows genuine care and patience throughout the day is something even more special! We are so thankful and couldn’t recommend Den Helder photography enough.

Pele has been absolutely incredible, we really couldn’t ask for anything more. He is so friendly, funny and also very professional. He went above and beyond and captured our day perfectly. He made us feel so comfortable and captured some incredible moments. The photos are even better than we expected and can’t thank him anymore. He really has given us a lifetime of beautiful memories to look back on, and they are such great quality. No words can give justice to how amazing he truly is. Easily the best investment we made for our wedding! Worth every penny and more -

Best photographer ever!
Couldn’t recommend Pele enough to give him the thanks he deserves.
Not only are the photos absolutely beautiful and sum up our special day perfectly, Pele is one of the nicest guys we have ever met! He made everyone feel super comfortable and by the end of the night, he felt like part of the family with the ease he put us at, because of this, he was able to snap away without us realising at times, which resulted with us getting the most wonderful candid photos.
My dad who usually hates his photos being taken, has said he absolutely loves all the photos and wants to get them all printed.
