I had seen some of Alex's work and visited his website. I loved the vibe and the humour so I contacted without even looking for anyone else. We just knew he was the photographer for us.
Alex got back in contact very promptly with the same professional humour which really put us at ease from the get go.
We met in person to discuss the wedding photography, our vision and to get to know each other initially. Alex is very polite and understanding but also has a very personable, as a couple it felt as if we had always known him which made the whole process super easy.
He provided us with all the information we needed and kept us fully in the loop with updates, a Pinterest page and a questionnaire to ensure our vision was fulfilled.
We got married in London and Alex came with us to many locations across London. It was the height of summer but he was so unbelievably professional and required a level of patience not many would have but he made us feel totally at ease the whole time. Out of the norm, Alex understood our vision and captured the whole day in such a unique way. Not just photos of us and the family but he told a story in the photos which has been a really fun edition.
Alex is also excellent with children which was a must for us. Not only that but he was great with all the family everyone loved having him there including the children, he felt like part of our day not just a photographer which made it relaxing and just gave a fantastic vibe to the whole day.
We couldn't recommend Alex anymore! It's an absolute must that you book him, you wholeheartedly will not be disappointed. Nothing seems out the realms of possibility and he truly goes that extra mile for you!

I really can't recommend Alex highly enough - we are so so so happy we chose him to photograph our wedding, and absolutely delighted with the final gallery.
From the start of the process he was really helpful with advice and completely clear what was needed at each step of the way. He's funny and friendly, seemed effortlessly on top of all the detail and really cared about getting a true understanding of us and what we wanted on the day.
On the day itself, he blended in seamlessly - it never felt like we were having to stop or disrupt the day for pictures, but every single key moment was beautifully captured. We mostly wanted unintrusive/candid shots which he absolutely delivered on, and all of our guests were saying how lovely he was. We didn't want to be away from our guests for too long for couples photos and were a bit worried posing would be awkward - but he made us feel so relaxed it was actually really fun, and that shines through in the pictures.
The photos themselves are stunning and everything we hoped for. All the joy and emotion of the day is written over everyone's faces and looking at them brings it back. The style is gorgeous, and the 35mm shots are incredible - but mostly they have this really magic quality of properly telling the story of the day.

We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better photographer for our wedding. From our very first meeting and the engagement shoot, we knew we were in the best hands. He immediately made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera (something neither of us are naturally used to!!) and that confidence carried through to the wedding day.
One of the most important things for me and my husband was finding a photographer who was completely on our wavelength and would feel like an extension of the wedding party, and Alex was just that! So many of our guests commented on how he felt like a guest with a camera—he blended in so effortlessly and made everyone feel so at ease. His ability to capture the day candidly meant we were never pulled away from the moment so we now have the most beautiful, natural, and emotional photos that truly tell the story of our day.
We feel so lucky to have had Alex form such a big part of our special day! -

Incredible photographer 10/10 recommend
We met Alex at a friends wedding in Yorkshire. He was so fun to be around at the day itself and their photos were absolutely beautiful so we knew we’d love to have him shoot our wedding the following year. He was so easy to work with, very relaxed and reliable when it came to organisation. For our actual wedding he just slotted right in, alongside a second shooter he brought with him who was also excellent. Alex is a funny and personable guy so we genuinely loved having him as part of our day, and afterwards I realised there were countless times I didn’t even notice he was there taking photos, he was very subtle and respectful and managed to capture our day perfectly. Every single photo was beautiful and we absolutely cherish them. There were particular shots I knew I wanted and he really delivered on those, but for the most part I just wanted candid shots of our day and I couldn’t have got better photos. Also a testament to him is that fact he keeps getting referred around our friendship group because now he’s been booked to shoot another couples wedding who met him at ours and loved the photos! A very talented photographer and genuinely nice guy, I can 100% recommend Alex if you’re considering him for your special day. -

Fantastic photographer!!
We honestly couldn’t be more pleased with our wedding photos. Alex’s style is perfect, capturing the wonderful moments without forcing anything.
We have had so many compliments from friends and family. Alex was just what we wanted in a photographer, great at communicating before the wedding and great company on the day, very relaxed and really got our memo! We would highly recommend Alex for anyone planning their wedding!! -

Alex was a brilliant choice for our wedding last year. From consultation and initial conversations regarding what “vibe” we wanted to go for and how comfortable (or not) my husband was having his photo taken and how we got around that, to the day itself where he genuinely felt like both one of the bridal party and groomsmen gang, to throughout the special moments where we barely noticed his presence and our walk around York City to capture some city pics! We were so happy when we got our images! 😍 can’t recommend enough. -

I count myself incredibly lucky to have landed Alex as my wedding photographer at such short notice and from the moment I spoke to him in our initial conversation I knew we were in good hands. He was not only entirely professional, highly skilled and talented but most importantly, fitted into our day perfectly. Our wedding party was quite informal compared to many weddings these days however he still managed to capture an amazing selection of images which we will treasure forever. If you want stuffy and boring he's not your guy, instead book him if you want to enjoy your wedding day and have fun with the photos! -

Nailed it.
Alex was AMAZING, from start to finish. Neither of us are super confident in front of a camera, my partner (now husband!) in particular. We wanted to capture our wedding and the moments as they truly were and were keen to avoid the day feeling like a photoshoot.
We had a FaceTime with Alex and immediately felt comfortable outlining exactly what we wanted, with him providing helpful prompts to better get to know us and the dynamic of the wedding parties/guests. We have a similar sense of humour which was lovely!
Alex made everything really clear and gave me a lot of advanced warning when shot lists were needed or payments were required. On the morning of the wedding, he was really helpful, put all the bridesmaids at ease and struck the balance perfectly between capturing all the sweet moments perfectly and not being in our faces. He also helped deliver messages between the bride and groom’s parties which reduced a lot of stress!
Our photos are SO BEAUTIFUL and we’re just thrilled with them. We received hundreds of gorgeous, candid, “real” photos and the family portraits were so lovely too. It was great capturing all the photos we wanted to achieve without feeling as though we were missing the celebrations. The gallery access to the photos was super smooth, and our friends and family found it really easy to download them without the usual website obstructions.
I couldn’t recommend Alex more as a wedding photographer, wish we could do it all over again. -

Alex was just fabulous, he really embraced our low key, relaxed wedding, and really captured the vibe of the day. He was super flexible, fitting exactly to what we were hoping for and brought artistic flair to accentuate the individual elements of the day, including some super cool shots of the band!! The resulting photographs will be truly treasured.
