Where it all started:

I have been glued to the lens since I was 5 years old and was gifted my very first Barbie disposable camera. As a child, I took hundreds of pictures of my family enjoying our carefree summer holidays. At the age of 11, as part of my transition to Secondary School, I completed an entire project on the history of the camera.

Growing a portfolio:

Fast-forward 20 years: I'm a Humanities Teacher at a SEMH school. During my PGCE year, I found myself with lots of free time. I decided I wanted to take my passion for photography more seriously and started reaching out to local models on a 'Time for Photos' basis. This proved to be very sociable, enjoyable, and successful until COVID-19 sent us into lockdown.

Starting a business:

Now, in 2025, I am expecting my first child - and contemplating my career in light of significant life changes (as most of us do). I'm exploring the concept of having my own photography business to support my maternity leave (and beyond) and adore the idea of focusing on precious moments shared between couples and families.
