Matt isn’t just a photographer and artist, he is an experience curator, and such a lovely, kind person.
The photos themselves were gobsmackingly beautiful and we couldn’t be happier with them, honestly above and beyond expectations for our wedding photos. Tears of joy for at least 3 hours when we received them!
But that’s not all, the whole experience we had with Matt was truly fantastic. From the moment we met him via video call, we knew his lovely calm temperament and gorgeous style of shooting was perfect for us. Then in the run-up to the wedding he was unbelievably helpful in the planning and organising of the day via emails with fun questionnaires, short forms and Pinterest boards. He made the potentially painful process of planning the day a delight - he deserves an award for that alone!
On the day, Matt was unreal. So professional and SO lovely to us and all our guests - we received so many compliments about him. He got absolutely all the shots we were after and more, we couldn’t believe it as he blended in so beautifully with our day it didn’t feel like he was snapping away! He also took great care in making sure everyone felt comfortable and was so sweet and kind with children, too.
I can’t say enough good things about Matt and his service. He worked so hard on putting our slideshow and gallery together and made it such a wonderful experience. We love him and so do our friends and family! Thank you, Matt :) -

Out of all the suppliers, finding a photographer was initially one of the hardest decisions to make and we knew it was one of the most important. There were so many good photographers out there, that we didn't know how to distinguish the differences and we struggled to feel how it would be for our wedding, then we saw Matt's portfolio.
Firstly, we loved how the photos were organised, showing the different wedding days unfolding, enabling us to better visualise how our day might look. Not only was there the perfect balance of portrait photos, that felt natural rather than posed, and the more candid moments, they were all so beautifully shot. We contacted him straight away and arranged a video meeting and we knew immediately we had made the right choice.
Matt was so incredibly personable, calm and enjoyable to talk to that we were immediately put at ease. He was thorough and clear when explaining the entire process from booking to the actual day, that feels you with confidence. He was really attentive when listening to our thoughts and the general idea of how we wanted the day and the photos to go, and he already started showing us ideas and how he could capture this.
His communication leading up to the wedding was perfect and very supportive. Through his easy to use portal we were able to fill in questionaries and set up a Pinterest mood board to give Matt a clearer picture of what was most important to us and the various styles of photos that we particularly liked. He would also touch base to offer tips and let us know if we need help, just with the photos but other aspects of planning a wedding. Matt helped us to not only plan our photos, but also structure the day without it being too ridged. Because of this, it felt like the day couldn't have gone smoother.
The day itself, Matt was absolutely wonderful. Matt's friendly and calm demeanour, along with his fantastic sense of humour, helped create a relaxed atmosphere. We originally we were going to go with the traditional first look down the aisle, but on his suggestion, we did a first look which we was one of our best decisions and gave us some of our favourite photos. It also allowed some of that nervous energy associated with the ceremony drain away so we could thoroughly enjoy every aspect of the day. As expected everyone thought Matt was fantastic and it felt more like a friend was taking your photos and this showed in the photos that were filled with that natural and genuine show of emotions that we especially wanted from our photos.
After the wedding, we got a sneak peak, which was an amazing surprise and somehow made us even more excited. We've now received our photos and they are beyond what we hoped for. We chose not to have a videographer, so Matt's curated slideshow with accompanying music was incredibly special and allowed us to relive the day and not just the bits we remembered, but the bits we missed too.
Matt, we cannot thank you enough for our perfect photographs; photographs that are not only beautiful, but filled with so much joy and laughter. -

Matt is amazing photographer, We couldn’t recommend him enough! From start to finish, he was incredibly helpful, professional, and supportive. His approach to planning before the big day, along with our one-to-one conversations, really helped reduce the stress and gave us extra reassurance throughout the whole process.
On the day itself, he was absolutely everywhere! With multiple cameras and such great attention to detail, he didn’t miss a single moment. He captured all the special memories beautifully, and we felt completely confident knowing we were in such capable hands.
We are so grateful for all his hard work, dedication, and the care he put into making our special day memorable.

Matt recently shot our wedding and was absolutely incredible throughout the whole process.
His photography really speaks for itself, but Matt also really listened to the little details that we loved about his work and made sure we had everything we could possibly want.
Aside from the actual photos, Matt was a complete pleasure to have with us on the day. We quickly realised how much of the day is spent with your photographer and we are so pleased to have had such a lovely guy with us! Matt made us both feel totally relaxed, engaged with all of our friends and family and went above and beyond helping through the day.
Matt is the name that all of our guests keep mentioning as such a highlight from the day - again not just for his beautiful photos, but for his kind and friendly nature.
We were also surprised at how quickly Matt delivered all our photos to us - it really shows how much he cares about giving his couples a great experience with him.
We can’t recommend Matt highly enough, he is exactly the kind of positive and fun character you want around on your wedding day! -

We looked a many many photographers, whose photos were nothing special at all. And then we came across Matt. Such beautiful images, with real emotion, perspective and creativity.
We knew that we needed to book him and after our initial exploration call with him, we knew that he was the only photographer that we wanted on our wedding day. Whilst we were originally impressed by his images, on this call we were even more impressed by his attention to detail, the research that he had already completed on our venue, as well his relaxed and kind personality.
Fortunately for us, Matt was available for our wedding day. We booked him about 20 months in advance and we are so glad that we did, as we can only imagine how quickly he must get booked.
Matt uses an online portal, which gave us an opportunity to provide information about us, our family members, our wedding day, as well as mood boards. He also asked us to choose photographs from his portfolio, that we found visually pleasing and that resonated with us. This allowed him to understand the style of photography that we wanted for our wedding.
Closer to the wedding, we had a further video consultation with Matt, where he reassured us, not only that he fully understood our requirements, but he was even tracking the weather and where the light would fall at specific times of day, to enable the perfect shots.
On the wedding day, we met Matt and he instantly put us both at ease. He has a very kind, calming nature and we could tell that he was very well prepared for the day, even arriving early to fully explore all the locations of our venue. Matt has a unique ability of being incredibly organised to capture every shot, but in a very non intrusive and respectful way.
Matt worked so hard throughout of day, ensuring that every shot we wanted was captured, as well as fully documenting our wedding day. Our guests have since all commented on how wonderful he was, particularly with the children, who he was able to get some great photos of.
The day after our wedding, whilst on the way to the airport, Matt kindly sent us a sneak peak of our photos. These were amazing and gave us a taste of what was to come.
Now, one month on from our wedding day and we have received all of our photos, as well as a specially curated slideshow of the day. We genuinely couldn’t be happier with the 1500 photos we have received. Every aspect of our wedding has been captured and documented and we will cherish these photos forever.
Matt is super talented, genuinely lovely, with a very high level of professionalism. Everyone has been blown away by our wedding photos and we can only recommend Matt 100% to be your own wedding photographer. You won’t be sorry for working with Matt. He has been incredibly and we are forever grateful to him. Thank you so much Matt! -

One of the best wedding decisions we made!
Matt was a recommended supplier to us from our wedding venue the Broome Park hotel. We had previously met a few photographers at open days and wedding fairs and thought we really liked them, going by their 'best of' pictures.
It's not until you ask a photographer to show you a full wedding day shoot you really get a feeling for the photographer's style. The photographers when they did - the shot style felt like a fly on the wall at the side of the room feel, but Matt was different.
Matt was initially more than what we budgeted for, but what we loved with his style, which was more candid and being in the right place at the right time, capturing the raw emotion and actions from family and friends.
Well he didn't disappoint. A true gent on the day and even running around on our behalf to help things run smoothly. We opted for minimal staged photos as opposed to our day being eaten up as a full photoshoot allowing Matt to just do what he does best in the background.
Our sneak peak pictures when we woke up, the morning after the wedding, were a welcomed surprised! We couldn't believe how amazing the pictures looked.
If your on the fence, or it's the top end of your budget and unsure if you think it would be worth it - we can assure you if will be! One of the best wedding decisions we made!

Truly a master of his craft!
Matt is truly a master at his craft! From the moment of booking Matt he sent helpful information through his online portal. With fun questionnaires, mood boards etc. He truly wanted to get to us as a couple and learn our story. The whole process was fun and stress free.
On the day Matt was a superstar! He was such a huge part of the wedding. He turned up and asked who was who and all our little fun stories and felt like part of the whole party joining in with jokes whilst still capture all the moments of laughter.
I’m quite anxious in front of cameras and Matt made it so relaxed and fun that you don’t even realise you’re being photographed.
Through matts suggestion as we had a twilight ceremony we decided to do a first look. And I was unsure to begin with thinking I wanted that traditional wow moment walking down the aisle but it was the best decision we made for the whole wedding! (Thank you so much for recommending the first look Matt!) having that moment with my husband was one of my main wedding highlights. Just me and him, no guests, no wedding party, no child. It was perfect and Matt captured it all. Those candid shots of us just being together in the moment are some of my favourite. And it was just as special walking down the aisle.
The ceremony we had a surprise that we didn’t know about just my parents knew and they had obviously let Matt know. An owl became our ring bearer. And Matt managed to capture the owl in flight coming down our aisle with our rings! Matt moves so quick to capture it all you’d think there was 5 of him taking photos!
The evening was even more perfect. We had a rainy day for the wedding but was really wanting some outdoor photos so when I told Matt the rain had died down and we didn’t mind getting a bit wet he was ready and setting up his equipment outside leaving us in the dry until he was ready and WOW the photos are magical.
Before Matt left he told us he was going to be on a plane the next day and we also got married just before Christmas so he said he would try his best to get us our sneak peek photos in a few days… well exactly 24 hrs later I get an email here are your sneaks peak photos! How Matt managed to do this so quick whilst being away on a plane and with his family just proved how much he cares.
We got our photos today and Matt even gave us suggestions on when and where to watch the slideshow he prepared rather than just flipping through it. We relived our wedding this evening and it was incredible.
I thought it couldn’t get more perfect but Matt truly outdone himself, Matt emailed a surprise to us. He was worried about not capturing the owl and missing it that he put up a secret little camera to film our ceremony so if he missed the owl we would have something to look back on. But now we have incredible photos of the moment and its on film too! Never doubt any of this man’s skills! Truly magic
Matt is professional, friendly , kind and caring. He will be the best asset to your wedding. He is more than a photographer, he helped with so many things. He was always in the right place at the right time.

We feel unbelievably lucky to have had Matt as our wedding photographer. His talent is absolutely next level - so many of our guests have told us our photos are the best wedding photos they’ve ever seen!
What sets him apart is not just his technical skill, but how natural and relaxed he makes you feel. There were no forced poses or awkward instructions—just gentle guidance when needed, and somehow he always found the most beautiful light and perfect angles. We felt completely comfortable the entire time, and that ease really comes through in the photos.
He captured the essence of the day so perfectly. Every key moment we wanted to remember is beautifully photographed —and so many more that we didn’t even realise he was there for.
Not only is he an incredible photographer, but he’s also a genuinely lovely human being. He truly listened to what we wanted and delivered beyond anything we could have imagined.
We would recommend him in a heartbeat. If you’re considering booking him—don’t hesitate. You’ll be so glad you did. -

Matt was literally brilliant. I cannot rave enough about him and what he did for us on our day.
The whole day was easy, fun, interesting in terms of where we went, how we got photos etc. Matt put us at ease straight away and was exceptionally creative. His cameras never left his side and he was always ready to get those random funny moments that are totally spontaneous.
He is warm, funny and was really great at getting stuck in with all of us. We loved him! -
