Matt isn’t just a photographer and artist, he is an experience curator, and such a lovely, kind person.
The photos themselves were gobsmackingly beautiful and we couldn’t be happier with them, honestly above and beyond expectations for our wedding photos. Tears of joy for at least 3 hours when we received them!
But that’s not all, the whole experience we had with Matt was truly fantastic. From the moment we met him via video call, we knew his lovely calm temperament and gorgeous style of shooting was perfect for us. Then in the run-up to the wedding he was unbelievably helpful in the planning and organising of the day via emails with fun questionnaires, short forms and Pinterest boards. He made the potentially painful process of planning the day a delight - he deserves an award for that alone!
On the day, Matt was unreal. So professional and SO lovely to us and all our guests - we received so many compliments about him. He got absolutely all the shots we were after and more, we couldn’t believe it as he blended in so beautifully with our day it didn’t feel like he was snapping away! He also took great care in making sure everyone felt comfortable and was so sweet and kind with children, too.
I can’t say enough good things about Matt and his service. He worked so hard on putting our slideshow and gallery together and made it such a wonderful experience. We love him and so do our friends and family! Thank you, Matt :) -

Truly a master of his craft!
Matt is truly a master at his craft! From the moment of booking Matt he sent helpful information through his online portal. With fun questionnaires, mood boards etc. He truly wanted to get to us as a couple and learn our story. The whole process was fun and stress free.
On the day Matt was a superstar! He was such a huge part of the wedding. He turned up and asked who was who and all our little fun stories and felt like part of the whole party joining in with jokes whilst still capture all the moments of laughter.
I’m quite anxious in front of cameras and Matt made it so relaxed and fun that you don’t even realise you’re being photographed.
Through matts suggestion as we had a twilight ceremony we decided to do a first look. And I was unsure to begin with thinking I wanted that traditional wow moment walking down the aisle but it was the best decision we made for the whole wedding! (Thank you so much for recommending the first look Matt!) having that moment with my husband was one of my main wedding highlights. Just me and him, no guests, no wedding party, no child. It was perfect and Matt captured it all. Those candid shots of us just being together in the moment are some of my favourite. And it was just as special walking down the aisle.
The ceremony we had a surprise that we didn’t know about just my parents knew and they had obviously let Matt know. An owl became our ring bearer. And Matt managed to capture the owl in flight coming down our aisle with our rings! Matt moves so quick to capture it all you’d think there was 5 of him taking photos!
The evening was even more perfect. We had a rainy day for the wedding but was really wanting some outdoor photos so when I told Matt the rain had died down and we didn’t mind getting a bit wet he was ready and setting up his equipment outside leaving us in the dry until he was ready and WOW the photos are magical.
Before Matt left he told us he was going to be on a plane the next day and we also got married just before Christmas so he said he would try his best to get us our sneak peek photos in a few days… well exactly 24 hrs later I get an email here are your sneaks peak photos! How Matt managed to do this so quick whilst being away on a plane and with his family just proved how much he cares.
We got our photos today and Matt even gave us suggestions on when and where to watch the slideshow he prepared rather than just flipping through it. We relived our wedding this evening and it was incredible.
I thought it couldn’t get more perfect but Matt truly outdone himself, Matt emailed a surprise to us. He was worried about not capturing the owl and missing it that he put up a secret little camera to film our ceremony so if he missed the owl we would have something to look back on. But now we have incredible photos of the moment and its on film too! Never doubt any of this man’s skills! Truly magic
Matt is professional, friendly , kind and caring. He will be the best asset to your wedding. He is more than a photographer, he helped with so many things. He was always in the right place at the right time.

We feel unbelievably lucky to have had Matt as our wedding photographer. His talent is absolutely next level - so many of our guests have told us our photos are the best wedding photos they’ve ever seen!
What sets him apart is not just his technical skill, but how natural and relaxed he makes you feel. There were no forced poses or awkward instructions—just gentle guidance when needed, and somehow he always found the most beautiful light and perfect angles. We felt completely comfortable the entire time, and that ease really comes through in the photos.
He captured the essence of the day so perfectly. Every key moment we wanted to remember is beautifully photographed —and so many more that we didn’t even realise he was there for.
Not only is he an incredible photographer, but he’s also a genuinely lovely human being. He truly listened to what we wanted and delivered beyond anything we could have imagined.
We would recommend him in a heartbeat. If you’re considering booking him—don’t hesitate. You’ll be so glad you did. -

Matt was literally brilliant. I cannot rave enough about him and what he did for us on our day.
The whole day was easy, fun, interesting in terms of where we went, how we got photos etc. Matt put us at ease straight away and was exceptionally creative. His cameras never left his side and he was always ready to get those random funny moments that are totally spontaneous.
He is warm, funny and was really great at getting stuck in with all of us. We loved him! -

We are so glad we chose Matt and highly recommend him! Not only is his end product fantastic, but he was such a great supplier to work with. His communication throughout the year of planning was very professional and incredibly organised. And on the day itself he was really friendly and immediately put everyone at ease. I also felt he got what was really important to us in terms of the photography, and the wedding more broadly. And he even got involved in a very exciting surprise gift!
As our wedding was very recently, we have only received the teaser photos so far but they are stunning, and really capture the spirit and emotions of the day. Can't wait to see the full set in a few weeks! -

Matt was fantastic. From the start he was easy to talk to, friendly and approachable. There was no pressure and the engage shoot was a great, not only giving us beautiful photos, but a way to meet him and feel comfortable. We had no doubt we made the best choice afterwards.
Coming up to the wedding he gave us hints and a mood board so we made what we wanted our wedding photos to look like. Easy to arrange another call which put any last minute worries to rest.
On the day he arrived in good time having already looked around and it was lovely having him there. Jokes while getting ready and helping the boys with ties etc. He did an amazing job, my vicar commented on how professional he is. He advised with the DIY filming we were doing with is very appreciated. He directed with the confetti and kept us on track. All the guest liked him and I found he was mostly invisible apart from when I wanted him and he was always there.
Go with Matt you can't go wrong honestly we are so impressed, and to get a few photos back a few days after the wedding was a huge plus. We are very happy. A great photographer and lovely person. -

Choosing Matt as our wedding photographer was one of the best decisions we made during the whole wedding planning process.
During getting ready, Matt made me feel so comfortable and relaxed which really helped set the mood before the ceremony. His personality and skills make him feel like he’s part of the wedding and I never once felt awkward knowing my photo was being taken! He captured such beautiful photos throughout the entire day and all of our guests told us how much they liked chatting with him and posing for the camera (especially later on the dance floor). He put together such a lovely video montage of some of the wedding highlights which was the perfect preview for our wedding photographs and brought back all of the memories of our day, capturing pretty much all of our guests smiling away and celebrating with us. Couldn’t have been happier so thank you so much Matt -

One of the best decisions we ever made!
We hired Matt for our wedding in May at Hayne House and it was one of the best decisions we ever made!
Prior to the wedding the communication was great and we put together a mood board for him and answered a few questionnaires so that he could capture the photos in a style we liked. Matt also created an order of the day for us ahead of the wedding (when it comes to the photos) to help everything run smoothly.
On the day he was great - really fun photographer to be around and made us laugh loads during the photoshoots, plus all the guests LOVED him. He got a great range of photos of everyone at the wedding and was never in the way of anything, and actually gave us some cool ideas on the day.
The photos themselves were AMAZING - it’s been a week since we got them and I think I’ve looked at them everyday. Every single photo is so so good - it was almost impossible to choose some for an instagram post haha
It’s also super easy to share the photos with your guests afterwards as Matt created a gallery for us which we can then share with our guests.
Overall, the photos were genuinely unreal and Matt was great fun but also very professional on the wedding day. -

When searching for a wedding photographer I found myself scrolling… not knowing who or what I was looking at. And then I came across Matt, and I immediately knew his style of work was exactly what I was looking for… and it’s a pretty big decision to make.
I reached out following the process which was straight forward and Matt got in touch quickly, and I was relieved when he said he was available on my big day.
We had an initial video meeting, where he went through step by step the process and explained everything throughly and we told him about our vision and what we wanted to capture on our big day.
Throughout the lead up to our wedding Matt was in regular contact with hints & tips for our big day, completely putting us at ease right from the beginning. His communication is from the start is second to none, and he answered all our queries and worries. Making the whole process feel relaxed.
On our big day Matt went above and beyond for us, working around our timeline. Turning up on time and his professionalism is outstanding. He is incredible personable, with nothing being too much trouble. Despite the rain… Matt has ‘can do/make it happen’ attitude and he was able to capture the whole day perfectly! Matt is nothing short of amazing, friendly and we are amazed at how he worked with both us but all of our guests too.
Matt isn’t just a photographer, he goes far beyond that making sure we had both eaten and had water. Checking in with us throughout the day.
The next day Matt sent over some sneaks for us too see… and we have just received our gallery will a very well put together slide show. There was definitely a lot of happy tears, and it was lovely to relive the day through how well he documented our wedding day.
Booking Matt is something I promise you, you won’t regret! His attention to detail is incredible, he didn’t miss a thing! His kind and friendly nature, shines though and nothing is too much trouble. I honestly cannot recommend Matt enough, you won’t be disappointed!
