The whole process with Mark was 10/10 from start to finish. If you're wanting a photographer who is charismatic, friendly, and willing to try some fun ideas, Mark is your guy! He made the entire party feel at ease, which I thought super important especially when you're not used to having a camera around, and at points we even forgot he was there (meant in the most positive way possible as this made for more natural shots)!
We received our full gallery of photos a lot sooner than we initially expected, and we are completely spoilt for choice with which ones to get printed for our home! Looking back through was such a joyous experience, brought back fantastic memories from the day and even a few tears - Mark truly captured our day so beautifully and we couldn't recommend him highly enough. Mark is your man!

Mark is absolutely fantastic! He captured our day perfectly and exactly how I wanted him to.
He made sure every guest was captured in some shape or form. Every part of the day was captured perfectly. There were no bad photos at all!
It was also a joy having Mark as part of our day. He moved around at times going unnoticed capturing our special moments, but also guests recognised how lovely he was and spoke so highly of him as a photographer with his professional but friendly manner.

Calm and professional
Mark photographed our wedding in December 2025. He was always responsive and helpful in the lead up, arranging calls when needed without overwhelming us.
On the day he helped keep the atmosphere calm and relaxed. He helped us getting ready and then prepared fantastic photos. We spent 4 hours with him and now have a wonderful gallery of our day.

Mark was extremely professional from the very beginning. We had great confidence that he would do a great job of capturing our special day and he did indeed! He is extremely organised and thorough but also relaxed and friendly. The perfect mix. We have stunning photos and everyone commented on what a nice chap he was. Mark was incredible with us. Had loads of good ideas and suggestions ahead of the day, identified perfect spots around the venue for some amazing pictures, and on the day was incredibly professional with a great attitude. His price was very in line with other wedding photographers we looked at, and he was definitely worth it - the photos we have we will cherish forever, -

100% recommend
I will open with a unoriginal statement - the wedding planning is stressful, with all the planning tools in the world, it just is. Having said, from my initial chat with Mark I could feel my stress subsiding, he's very professional and empathetic and the communication was great.
His initial documents pack gave me an understanding of available packages, then we had a couple of chats and he guided me on my options and provided advice on timelines, I wish dealing with my other suppliers was as easy as dealing with him! Everything was straightforward, and there was also some room for flexibility, so at least before the wedding I was confident this is def sorted.
On the day Mark made us feel at ease, despite my husband and I not being keen on posing much, and yet now we have beautiful photos, where we both look relaxed and happy.
After the wedding the communication remained great, I got some images for a little preview and then the rest pretty soon after, which I understand can vary, but I was v happy with my delivery. It was great seeing the photos and reliving the day, seeing our guests having fun and noticing some unexpected moments captured for us by Mark.
I would 1000000% recommend, and you should all book him asap, so at least there'll be one less thing to stress about!Mark Chivers Photography's reply:

Amazing Wedding Photographer!!!
We honestly can’t recommend Mark enough! He captured the most amazing photos of our big day — each one full of emotion, joy, and the little moments we’ll treasure forever.
Mark has that perfect balance of being professional yet relaxed, which made us and our guests feel completely at ease. He blended in so naturally with the wedding party that it felt like he was one of the guests — but somehow managed to be everywhere at once, capturing the most beautiful candid shots.
So many of our friends and family commented afterwards on how lovely he was, with several saying they wished they’d had him for their own wedding!!Mark Chivers Photography's reply:

We hired Mark for our wedding in June 2025. We couldn’t have asked for a better photographer than Mark. From the very beginning, he went above and beyond — taking the time to have several calls with us before the wedding to really understand our vision and what we were hoping to capture. Mark supported us throughout the process and made us feel really at ease. We didn't want a photographer who was going to stage the majority of the photos, and Mark's natural style fitted us perfectly.
On the day itself, Mark was absolutely incredible. He struck the perfect balance between beautifully composed, posed shots and the kind of candid, natural moments that we’ll treasure forever. His ability to make everyone feel comfortable — and genuinely enjoy being photographed — was incredibly. He brought a calm, fun energy that made the whole experience feel effortless.
We absolutely love the photos… they honestly took my breath away. We feel so lucky to have had Mark as part of our wedding — I truly couldn’t have chosen a better photographer.
