I’m David, a documentary wedding photographer based in Manchester, capturing weddings with a calm, natural and unobtrusive style. I believe the most meaningful photographs are the ones that unfold quietly — a look between partners, a hand-squeeze before the ceremony, a burst of laughter no one planned. My approach is simple: I photograph your wedding exactly as it felt, without staging or pressure.

Couples choose me because they want to feel relaxed, not directed. Most people don’t love being in front of a camera, which is why I work gently and intuitively throughout the day. You’ll never be asked to recreate moments or hold stiff poses. Instead, I blend into your celebration so you can be fully present while I capture the emotional, joyful and beautifully unplanned moments.

I specialise in micro weddings, registry office ceremonies, LGBTQ+ weddings, Nikah weddings, multicultural celebrations and relaxed modern weddings across Manchester and the North West. Whether your day is intimate or full of energy, my focus is always on honest storytelling, natural emotion and genuine connection.

Outside of weddings, I also photograph families, naming ceremonies and events, but weddings remain the heart of my work. Every couple, culture and celebration is different, and it’s a privilege to document those stories in a way that feels personal and meaningful.
