Dan Hodge Photography would love to hear more about your special day. Dan is based in the southwest of the UK but will happily travel to your location. He tastefully edits images in a natural and elegant style, creating timeless photographs that can be cherished for generations to come. The result will be a gorgeous album that transports you back to your magical event.

What does the wedding package include?

Full Day coverage (10 Hours) 500-800 professionally edited images. Online consultation. Online gallery with the additional option of creating your own wedding app for 6 months. Drone Photography

How far in advance should I contact you?

Most people do a year in advance to save disappointment

Do you cover more than one wedding a day?

No

Can you travel?

Yes, south West, Including Gloucestershire, Wales, Wiltshire, Devon, Somerset, Cornwall. London, Reading, Birmingham, Worcesterhire The list goes on. Please let me know your location when booking

What is the charge for travelling?

Free travel for anywhere within 100 miles of Bristol. Then it's 0.45p per mile after that

What style of photos do you take?

Photo journalism

What kind of technology do you use?

Digital

Do you use a specific technique or innovative approach?

I like to use natural lighting for 99% of the day except for the party. Flash is very distracting, it's quite old school and most of the time unnecessary

What kind of equipment do you use?

I use two full frame Sony mirrorless cameras with dual SD card slots, meaning your photos are copied immediately to two locations. I have multiple lenses for various situations

Do you offer any tool to display the photos online?

Yes, your personal client gallery

What's the delivery time for a photographic report?

4 months

Do you send all the photos taken?

No

Do you work alone or do you have a team of professionals?

Alone

In case of unforeseen circumstances, do you have a replacement photographer?

Yes

Do you have the rights to publish the wedding photos?

Yes

Do you charge per hour or per event?

Per event

If needed, would you be able to work extra hours?

Yes

How do you charge extra time?

I work out how many additional hours are needed. If it's just the one extra because the wedding has overrun then I won't charge. It's depends on the situation

What are the forms of payment?

10% Deposit when booking. The remainder to be paid a month before your wedding date

How do you work?

I love the buzz of a wedding day. I work flat out from Bridal prep right through to first dance. I only take a break for lunch when you guys are also doing the same

Couldn't ask for better

Dan was absolutely amazing to work with- we couldn't of asked for a better photographer for our day. We wanted mostly candid shots (as well as the usual family ones ect) and Dan delivered this perfectly. Dan gave a sneak peak 2 days after the wedding of some of the shots and we knew they were all going to be amazing. He made the whole process very smooth and we can't thank him enough for capturing the day perfectly.
