When we first started to plan our wedding, we found that the amount of photographers to chose from was overwhelming. However, from the moment we found Sandra & Steve, they made us feel relaxed, calm and put all our worries to bed.
From Instagram messages to emails, to zoom calls and a pre-wedding photoshoot meeting they were lovely from start to finish. On the day of our wedding after over a year of preparation they were an absolute dream and all of the wedding party commented on how lovely they were.
During the wedding they listened to us, understood exactly what we wanted, got the pictures that we wanted to get and made us laugh / feel comfortable in the process.
We wouldn't of had it any other way and if we were to redo our wedding all over again we'd have them as our photographers every single time. Thank you Sandra and Thank you Steve.SMH Photography's reply:

Our very own superhero’s!!
The most incredible photographers and two of the loveliest people we could have asked to be part of our wedding day.
There are so many people we want to thank for making our wedding so special, but Sandra and Steve deserve one of the biggest thank yous of all.
From the very first time we met them, both of us felt like we were in safe hands. They have this incredible ability to make you feel completely relaxed and comfortable in front of a camera (something that definitely does not come naturally to either of us).
And then we saw the photographs.
Honestly, we were completely blown away. The photos are so wonderful and the fact that they are actually of us is something we still can’t quite believe. They captured our wedding day so perfectly.
But what makes Sandra and Steve so special is that they are so much more than photographers.
At various points throughout the day, they became our personal bodyguards, dress fixers, flying ant swatters, cheerleaders, problem solvers and general superheroes.
They worked tirelessly throughout the entire day making everything feel effortless. They kept us laughing, knew exactly when to step in and when to simply capture a moment unfolding naturally. They brought such kindness, fun and energy to the day, and we loved having them there.
It’s easy to look at a photograph and forget about the incredible people behind the camera who made it possible. We certainly won’t forget them.
Sandra and Steve, thank you for giving us photographs that we will treasure always, but even more than that, thank you for being such a wonderful part of our wedding day. You helped make it so completely us.
We feel incredibly lucky to have found you both and would recommend you to anyone without hesitation. If you’re looking for photographers who don’t just take beautiful photographs but care about the people they’re photographing, look no further.

We couldn't have asked for a better duo for our Wedding Photography! Sandra and Steve made us feel at ease right from the start of the booking process through to our special day. They both went above and beyond on the day assisting with crowd-control, helping me with my dress and even thinking to keep my bouquet fresh between photo opportunities.
During our couples shots we even forgot pictures we being taken as it felt so natural and relaxed.

My husband and I got married at Colshaw Hall on 29.10.2024 and we booked SMH Photography to capture our special day.
Before our wedding, my husband and I had a video call with Sandra and Steve to discuss the photographs we wanted and plan timings to enable all the guests to be ready for the group photos. They were also very quick to reply to any questions or queries we had and went out of their way to accommodate us.
On the wedding day, both Sandra and Steve were so professional and warm to work with. Their skill as photographers enabled them to capture our special day perfectly and blend seamlessly into the background to catch those unique moments from our family, friends and children that we would have otherwise missed.
When we received the photographs, they were beyond our expectations. We highly recommend SMH Photography to anyone getting married. Thank you so much.

As soon as we had our first meeting with Sandra & Steve we knew we were in good hands and having not long received our photos, we are completely blown away!
During the day they were professional but also fun! We were a little nervous to have to pose for so many photos but we felt completely at ease and quickly relaxed into it!
Both our ‘traditional’ and the more casual photos are high-quality! We don’t even know where to start in picking the ones we want printed as they are all just amazing.
Can’t recommend SMH any higher! 💖 -

It was soooo hard choosing our wedding photographer as I’m also a photographer! However I am so glad we picked Steve & Sandra, from the first point of contact we felt at ease like “they had us” they know exactly what they are doing and work seamlessly! They weren’t only photographers they were helping with all sorts and answering all my questions about what happens now, where do I go, how do we fasten buttonholes, these guys know EVERYTHING wedding! Honestly, there’s a lot of people who say they are photographers… but SMH are the real deal!! We are blown away with our photos and what nice people they are and how they fit into our wedding so well ! They even managed to get shots they knew we wanted despite the weather! Absolutely Amazing people and Photos!
Sandra and Steve were honestly incredible and I could of imagined having anyone else to capture our special day! From the beginning they were so helpful and if I had any questions they answered them straight away. On the day they were both so calm and friendly and new exactly what to capture. They took amazing photos of family and friends which I never knew about until I recieved my photos back which was so lovely to see! They asked me what photos I wanted and remembered to take them all on the day! And they took such perfect pictures of me and my husband and I'm so grateful! I honestly couldn't recommend these enough!! I'm so glad I went with them!
