I hired Zee for my elopement wedding and it was sadly very disappointing. From the beginning, she forgot her SD card and vocalised this very loudly to herself in front of my husband and some guests which confused them and embarrassed my husband. My husband had to go and ask her what was wrong, then she told him about the card. She had to go and buy a new one. After we just got married and came outside for our confetti shots, this happened again. She made noises, was swearing to herself and was complaining about something. My heart dropped because this was supposed to be such a special moment and I started to worry what the issue was. She missed the confetti shots because of some issue with the lens. I was gutted. Fortunately, my lovely guests suggested we re-do it with some of the confetti from the floor. So yes, we had to have floor confetti and a 'take two' which is ridiculous. She managed to get the photos the second time around but I'm so upset that she missed the first, genuine one. Instead of pulling one of us to the side and gently explaining the issue, she made quite a scene, embarrassing us again. When leaving the venue to walk to the next one, we had to ask her to take photos of us, as she was walking behind with the guests.
Later, she blamed the size of flat we were in and my husband and I being 'big' people for her struggle taking pictures. I was so stressed but of course I was still trying to enjoy my day. At one point, she pulled out her 'pro' phone to take pictures. She did not apologise for any of the above. Overall, Zee lacked professionalism and added unnecessary stress to our day. Our photos were so bad, most of them were blurry (which she of course blamed on a smudge on the lens). She was so unprepared as if it was her first time ever doing wedding photography. Even our guests were concerned about her behaviour. We had to ask for the unedited files to see if we could make any of them look better ourselves. Fortunately, our guests took much better photos so we at least have those. The only comfort was that we didn't pay much for her at the time. Error on our part. I'm sure many people like her vibe, but for an already stressful day, we did not need more. Hopefully she becomes more professional. Unsuspecting people may think her photography is good and be none the wiser of the quality, but I studied photography.
I wish her all the best with her career, and hopefully she takes note of this.
