Based in Leeds, I specialise in relaxed, documentary wedding photography across Yorkshire and the UK. My aim is simple: to capture your wedding naturally, preserving not only how your day looked, but how it felt.
Most couples tell me they're not comfortable in front of the camera—and that's completely normal. Rather than constantly directing you, I create a relaxed atmosphere where genuine moments can unfold naturally. When guidance is needed, I'll offer it in a way that feels easy and natural, never forced.
From the excitement of getting ready to the celebrations on the dance floor, I quietly document the real moments that make your wedding unique. Alongside those candid memories, we'll also create beautiful, timeless portraits you'll be proud to display for years to come.
You will spend months planning your wedding, but the day itself passes incredibly quickly. Long after the flowers have faded and the cake has been eaten, your photographs become one of the few lasting reminders of the people, emotions and memories that made your day so special.
Whether you're planning an intimate registry office ceremony or a full day of celebrations, I offer flexible coverage from 2 to 12 hours, with the option to include a personalised pre-wedding photoshoot. Every package includes a private online gallery where you can download and share your high-resolution images with family and friends.
Based in Leeds, I regularly photograph weddings throughout Wakefield, Harrogate, York and across Yorkshire, but I'm always happy to travel further for your story.

Hi, I'm Ben.
I'm a Yorkshire-based photographer and the person you'll find behind the camera on your wedding day. I've been photographing people and events for over ten years, capturing everything from intimate family moments and charity projects to large-scale events and weddings.
My approach is relaxed, documentary-led, and people-focused. Rather than spending the day directing every moment, I prefer to let things unfold naturally, capturing genuine emotions, laughter, happy tears, and all the little moments that make your wedding unique.
I understand that not everyone feels comfortable in front of a camera, so I aim to make the experience as relaxed and enjoyable as possible. When guidance is needed for group photographs or couple portraits, I'll help you feel at ease without awkward posing or forced smiles.
