At Ali Horton Photography, I specialise in capturing weddings with an honest, heartfelt approach. Well-known for my fun, relaxed, and professional style, I blend seamlessly into your day to document every laugh, tear, and stolen glance. My philosophy is simple: your wedding is your story, and I'm here to tell it authentically.
Over the past 14 years, I've had the pleasure of capturing memories for over 150 couples across the length and breadth of England, as well as a few other countries.
Every couple I work with is unique, and I tailor my approach to suit your personality and vision. From the initial consultation, where I get to know you and your plans, to the delivery of your photos, I'm by your side, ensuring everything runs smoothly. Whether it's fixing a stray veil, calming last-minute nerves, or sharing a joke to ease the tension, I'm more than just your photographer—I'm your unofficial support team.
My services include full-day photography packages, with options for a second photographer to ensure every angle is covered. I deliver a stunning gallery of high-contrast black-and-white images, complemented by warm, muted colour tones that bring your memories to life.
What sets me apart? It's the candid moments that you don't even realise are happening—the flower girl whispering a secret, the groomsmen's impromptu dance-off, or the tearful embrace between loved ones. One couple once told me their favourite photo was of their parents sharing a quiet laugh together, a moment they'd missed but now treasure forever.

I use two Sony A7iii cameras with a variety of professional grade lenses and lighting equipment (where appropriate) I only use industry standard SD cards with high-end data backups

Yes, i use PicTime to allow users a full Password Protected Gallery and Slideshow to share with their loved ones

Best person for your day!
I knew I wanted Ali as my photographer before I was even engaged so was over the moon to find out he was available for my date! The lead up to the wedding was seamless and had such easy conversations. Incredible work on the day, Ali and his second photographer Jamie were a delight to have around and got every element on our wedding and organised people effortlessly. The sneak peaks I received the following evening made everyone cry and when we got the full album we had a viewing party to go through all the photos which were incredible and more than we ever would have expected. 100% the best investment for our day. Could not recommend enough.

Couldn't recommend highly enough
Having followed Ali's work for a few years, I was thrilled when he said that he would be able to shoot our wedding and he absolutely didn't disappoint. From our initial communication into early conversations and his role on the actual day, he was a calming, supportive and knowledgeable presence that helped to make the whole process so easy.
My wife and I are not particularly fond of having our picture taken in forced/posed settings and when we discussed this with Ali, he immediately put us at ease and said that wouldn't be a problem. He guided us through the group pictures and then went about his business, capturing candid photos of the celebration in a totally natural and authentic way.
The package that we chose included a second photographer and Ali & Jamie worked together brilliantly. It was the first time that either of them had worked with our venue but the team at Barns & Yard had nothing but praise for the two gents and their work.
Ali stayed in regular contact with us after the wedding: sharing our sneak peek pictures within 24 hours after the big day and the whole gallery very promptly. The online portal to view the pictures is so easy to navigate but the best thing about it is how Ali organised our pictures. The different aspects of the day were split into chapters and looking through them all has allowed us to revisit our wedding almost like a documentary, reliving every single moment.
Having been to several weddings since we got married ourselves, the biggest compliment that I can give Ali and Jamie is that they fitted into our day so seamlessly that they actually felt like they were a part of the wedding party, rather than being there to photograph the happiest day of our lives. I couldn't recommend Ali Horton Photography highly enough.

An absolute gem of a photographer
Ali has absolutely smashed what we wanted from our wedding photos out of the park. From the get go he listened to what we wanted and at the event he just let us be ourselves which is why we have such great photos. He was friendly with absolutely everyone and captured everything we wanted and more including some of the best photos we have of our daughter! We couldn’t have asked for a better or friendlier photographer- nothing was too much trouble.We would recommend him to anyone - he is an absolute gem!

Ali is a fantastic photographer. He is friendly, professional and adaptable. We had a few moments throughout our day where Ali stepped in with advice and guidance to ensure we got the best photos.
He captured moments we didn’t think of and built positive relationships with our bridal party and other guests. He made everybody feel welcome.
Jay, the second photographer, worked well with Ali and again was just great with all the guests.
We are so thankful that we chose Ali. We were already so pleased with our sneak peak, but when we received our full album, we were honestly blown away. We love every single photo. Thank you again!

Ali was the Perfect Photographer for Our Special Day
Ali captured every special moment of our wedding day so beautifully and effortlessly.
From the very first conversation, we knew we were in safe hands. His professionalism and experience instantly put us at ease, allowing us to relax and fully enjoy the day.
Ali has an incredible ability to direct group shots so that everyone looks their best, while also blending into the background to capture the most natural, candid moments.
From stunning drone shots of the venue to beautiful close-ups of our rings, he thought of every detail—even ones we’d never have thought to ask for.
But more than his amazing photography, Ali is a wonderful person to have by your side on such an important day. He stepped in to help with buttonholes flowers when we were struggling and made sure to carve out time for us to pause, take a breath, and soak it the day.

Book Ali today! Top Guy - Top Photography!
We booked Ali for our January 2025 wedding at Burton Hall, Rugby. I have been witness to Ali at other events and liked his professionalism and skills for keeping things friendly and upbeat.
We booked him for our wedding and we're so happy with the whole experience from consultation to receiving our photos it was an easy process. He made us both feel at ease on the day and we are a testament to how much we love his photos as we have alot of them Are - A1 size framed around our house. He captured our day and style perfectly and I would book him again for any event. As a side not Ali also took our engagement photos, again loved so much they are printed and on display in our home. You won't go wrong by booking Ali with a beautiful compilation of your precious moments at the end of it all. Don't walk run to book!

Highly recommend!
Ali was incredible. I highly recommend.
He has great packages in everyone's budget and nothings to much.
Lead up to the day Ali communicated really well and we had a meeting to discuss the pictures we wanted to take and the style.
On the day he was there on time and ready to go. Ali was very flexible with the day and timeings and would always make sure he was taking plenty of photos of each special memory.
Along side being the photographer he helped me with advice and some tasks on the day. We had such a laugh and he got on with everyone aswell as controling the group for photos.
After that he got our photos back to us really quick with different edit options.

Brilliant experience!
I could not recommend Ali enough. He was extremely professional throughout the whole day. My favourite thing about Ali is that he’s genuinely an all round nice and respectful person. He made the day run very smoothly and captured the key moments beautifully. He also comes with the option of a second photographer which I would recommend, especially for getting ready in the morning. The photos were sent to us at a reasonable time post-wedding and it was very easy and convenient to view and save them as they were stored on the Dropbox app.

Can't recommend Ali enough!
After being lucky enough to be a guest at many weddings where Ali was the photographer, we'd seen first hand how comfortable he made everyone feel in front of the camera, how amazing the photos were, and how smooth he made the whole process during the stress of wedding planning. There was no doubt we would ask Ali to capture our wedding too!
He lived up to expectations and we can't recommend Ali enough! Ali's extensive experience means you can just get on and enjoy your day knowing all the great moments are being captured!

Photos to remember, fun, professional with no fuss.
Ali was amazing for our big day, we were always wanting a photographer that made us feel relaxed and comfortable and who added a bit of fun to the photos we would look back on fondly and he did just that. Ali captured all the details we wanted. Hours weren’t spent getting photos and dragging us and our guests away from having a great day he just fit in and made the photos just another great part too.

Wouldn’t have picked anyone else.
Ali was extremely professional from our very first interaction. He explained his packages and what he could offer clearly, talking us through every detail. On the day, he was first to arrive and was so present and engaging throughout the day. He made us all feel completely at ease. He organised the group photos effortlessly and took all of our suggestions in his stride. We are still absolutely in love with our photos and the memories he managed to capture so perfectly for us. One of my bridesmaids have recently also booked Ali after meeting him at my wedding, which I think says it all.

Ali is amazing!
Ali is amazing! We hired him as our photographer for our Wedding and we are soo unbelievably happy with the results. He was really enthusiastic and accommodating on the build up to our big day and then throughout the day he was so efficient and seamlessly captured all our precious moments. Many of our guests said how lovely they thought he was and he was great with all the kids too! Your wedding day is a wild ride and things don’t always stick exactly to timings and Ali was so laid back about it, he stayed until we had everything we wanted. Can’t recommend him enough and we had our full edited set of pictures within just 4 weeks of the wedding! Amazing !!
