About

Available for weddings in Bristol and throughout the South West, Trip For Biscuits is a party band inspired by classic and contemporary music. They are particularly passionate about the iconic music of the 1920s, and many of their members made their names on Bristol's vibrant jazz scene. Whether you like the vibe of a 1920s speakeasy or a modern-day dance hall, this accomplished outfit aims to give your big day the soundtrack it deserves.

Services Offered

Trip For Biscuits can perform in a variety of line-ups, from a vocal and piano duet to an energetic eight-piece ensemble. The latter consists of a four-piece rhythm section and Dixieland-style frontline of clarinet, trumpet, trombone, and beautiful vocals. They are happy to play at every stage of your wedding, including your ceremony and drinks reception.

Excellent Entertainment that really added to our special day

What did we want? Something a little bit different to entertain our guests of a mixed age group, something that was current and fresh with a nod to the traditional, fun but not cheesy. Musically Excellent. (I'm an ex cruise ship performer so quite fussy.) Trip 4 Biscuits achieved this in spades and has been one of the main talking points of our wedding at the Berry Head Hotel. Think Dua Lipa, Moose T. Right said Fred Sung to perfection in a sequined Ball gown with Tuxedoed Musicians in a 1920's/30's speakeasy style, arrangements that are simply impossible not to tap your feet or dance to. Well done to Laura and the band Edward and Lewis xxxx

Incredible energy

We hired Trip for Biscuits for our wedding and would absolutely recommend them to others. They were fantastic musically and brought a lot of energy to our evening, delighting everyone from our 4 year old flower girl to our guests in their 60's and everyone in between.

Old school music - adds the right taste to your event

We booked Trip for Biscuits for our wedding, during the drinks reception. It was all booked roughly 1 year in advance. What we couldn’t have known is that our wedding location was on the edge of filing bankruptcy. In the end we found a new location, 1 week later than the original date. This was 3 months before the wedding should take place. For Trip for Biscuits this was no problem at all, thankfully! They were very flexible and understanding from the beginning. During the wedding their performance was outstanding! They added just that classy style to our day we were hoping for. You can make the band as big as you want, from 2 to max 6 or 8 band members. This is also flexible and makes sure there is a little bit of class for every kind of wallet size. The music style is modern songs in a vintage style, which is amazing! The singing, instrument playing, everything is good. And the band members are ever so kind as well! A definite recommendation from us! If you’re looking for a classy, fun, quality band, Trip for Biscuits is the one to get the vibe going!

Made our wedding party.

TfB were fantastic at our wedding. From the first message to them to the end of the wedding, they were friendly, communicative and flexible. In the run up, they helped us find the right size group for the space. Despite our short notice, they squeezed us in (second wedding of the day!), turned up on time and ready to go. The music was great, modern classics redone in a Gatsby style, got everyone up and dancing. Even the reluctant ones. Several of our guests have come back to us since the wedding to praise the band.

Something Unique for our wedding - amazing!

Thank you Trip for Biscuits, you were amazing! From the after dinner duo, to the evening 5 piece band, it was perfect. With your unique style, your music added such great flare to our wedding. From randomly seeing you perform for the first time in the Bootlegger in Exeter, we absolutely loved your music & you certainly didn't disappoint for our big day!!
