We originally booked the band for our wedding in Covid, however it kept getting moved and we finally did it in 2024. I've been in contact with Laura for many years planning it and she was fantastic to work with.
We only had 70 guests at our wedding yet the dance floor was filled all night and the one thing everyone commented on the afterwards was how good the band was!

The one night band played our festival themed tipi wedding on Friday and were absolutely sensational!!!! ✨ If you want high energy, good vibes (whatever the weather!) and banging floor fillers to get the party started, these are your people!! They were phenomenal in the build up and even better on the day!! They did a beautiful afternoon acoustic set and they managed to tailor our favourite songs for our first dance to perfection, making it one of the most magical moments of our life 💗 Laura and the ONB we love you, thank you!! Honestly, how do I even begin to describe this band and its members? If you’re hesitating in anyway to bring this group on board for your special event, don’t. Contact me anytime for more details. It will be the best element you brought to your party, other than maybe your bride or groom. This is a class act.

We found them online while planning for our wedding in Scotland, and Laura was really responsive helping us plan out just how we wanted the evening to flow. They helped us formulate the perfect collection of songs, and even learned the song we had picked for our first dance.

Incredible performance, high energy, empowering stage presence, and slick moves. We hired them sight unseen, and they really brought it! The variety of music, Laura’s amazing vocal range, Max killing it on guitar, thumping bass and drums, choregraphed and impromptu dance moves, and discoteque lighting. You get it all. Literally, the first song started playing, and everyone from the party was on the floor dancing, young and old. And we had a tough crowd. By the end, people were wearing ties on their heads and had stripped out of their wedding garb just to keep their dance moves going for the duration.

They call themselves the One Night Band, because you’ll never forget that night, and you’ll be talking about it for the rest of your life. Thank you, One Night Band! I really can’t wait for our next event together.

The One Night band are such an amazing band who have the most incredible energy. The were so good and so much fun. We are so glad we picked The One Night Band for our wedding. I’ll be honest - my husband did the majority of the research and communications with Laura, but we couldn’t fault them. They were incredibly responsive and attentive - having not performed at our wedding venue before they went above and beyond in contacting them to ensure they had enough space, sound limiters and general information about the venue. This took a lot of stress off of us and we were very reassured with their professionalism.

They performed our first dance followed by 2 x 45 minute sets - this including learning a few songs at our request. Otherwise their existing repertoire is extensive - we struggled to pick out of so many amazing options, including some medleys.

We, and our guests included, had the best evening dancing and singing away with them - Laura even joined us on the dance floor! We have received nothing but complements for how incredible they sounded. They also found out my husband is a drummer, so spontaneously invited him up to play for his favourite song. This completely made our night unforgettable and we are so grateful to have had them there on the best day of our lives.

When I set out looking for a band for our wedding I specifically wanted a female singer who would and could do a range of different genres, but many of the bands we found were waaaaay over budget. Then a friend told me about ‘the best band (she’d) ever seen at a wedding…….with a female singer’. I asked her to find out the details and that’s when we got in contact with The One Night Band. They were responsive from the off and offered different options for different budgets. We wanted the full band, which was still the best value we’d come across in our previous searching.

On the night they not only played music, they put on a show. The drummer crowd surfed, Laura was down on the floor dancing with us, they were brilliant. If you’re looking for a lively band that can perform Motown to Avicii and keep the crowd dancing the WHOLE TIME, then this is your band. My only complaint was they couldn’t perform longer, but that wasn’t their fault, the venue kicked us out!
