  The most perfect musical duo

  We couldn't recommend Lazy Marmalade enough if you are looking for a wedding/event band. These guys sound is absolutely fantastic, and this is coming from a bride who is a musician and music therapist, and a groom who has been to many live gigs.
  Not only do they sound great, their professionalism was perfect. Alex and Jon both responded to emails very quickly answering any questions we had.
  Our guests loved them as much as we did! I was worried about the generation gaps with the guests, but Alex and Jon worked their magic (talent) and managed to get everyone up on the dance floor at some point during the evening. Their set up is amazing and their DJ sets were great!
  Thank you so much Jon and Alex for making our wedding evening extra special. Gavin and I hope we can see you live again one day.

  Life of the party

  Alex and Jon are not only super talented at their craft, but are genuinely there to ensure you and your guests have the most incredible time possible. They sent the recording of our first dance song early so we could choreograph a dance to it, they were super responsive and replied in detail to any question I had. The evening flew by and most guests never left the dance floor as the bangers just kept on coming. Couldn't have imagined a better band to play, thanks again Alex & Jon

  The hundred house, 30.06.2024

  Thankyou so much for being a part of our wedding day! We loved every minute of it... Alex & Jon were amazing!   Outstanding!

  The band were amazing! The live lounge style in the afternoon was perfect, kept it relaxed but special, in the evening everyone was up dancing! I had so many people telling me how good they were. Their set list was fantastic, mixture of everything. Their communication from booking but to the week of the wedding was great! As a bride, with all the other stresses, having someone get back to you quickly was music to my ears! Would highly recommend them to anyone! Thank you so much for making our day even more special!

  Does it get any better?

  Working with Lazy Marmalade was a dream. We live in California but were planning a wedding in the UK, which made hiring vendors feel like a bit of a gamble. Jon took us through the process beautifully. We always had clear and direct communication, he took the time to learn a few songs that were specifically important to us, and when the band showed up on the day of the wedding they already felt like old friends. Our guests could not believe how incredible they sounded — during the cocktail hour before the wedding breakfast, many of our guests simply stood around in awe, watching the Lazy Marmalade performance with undivided attention. We’ll forever be grateful to them and the memories they helped us form. Truly perfect experience and something we will treasure forever.

  What a vibe

  Alex and Jon were incredible right from the start, I could hear them playing to guests while I was getting ready and could already tell from then that it was going to be a good day!
  They learned and performed the entrance song (amongst others we requested) PERFECTLY and it added so much to the atmosphere.
  Throughout the day guests were commenting on how brilliant they were and my dancing pals had the best time! Even guests outside have commented since that although they weren’t inside dancing they were really enjoying the music and it made all the difference.
  Our wedding would have been very different without them, thank you so much guys!

  Gavin and Laura - American Museum Bath

  Laura and I had the pleasure of lazy marmalade performing at our wedding in Bath. They were exceptionally professional, presentable, and approachable throughout our journey together. They have an exceptional sound that turns well known classics into edgy masterpieces. They have incredible energy which was infectious. Laura is a musician with a keen ear for good musicianship, and she loved them. I don’t think there can be a better endorsement than that.

  Highlight of the wedding!!

  We booked Alex and Jon to play all day at our wedding and it was the best decision I made! Throughout the planning and lead up to the day their communication was amazing and sorted everything music wise without me having to do anything which made for such stress free organising. Such lovely guys that will definitely make you feel at ease.
  My requested down the aisle song (which they learnt) was just stunning. There wasn’t a dry eye in the room and I truly believe it was mostly due to them creating such a magical environment.
  For the evening again they knew exactly what would get everyone on the dance floor!!! There was not one song where everyone wasn’t up dancing and having the best time. Weeks later how good lazy marmalade were is still a topic of conversation I regularly have with most of the guests in attendance.
  Thankyou Jon and Alex for making our wedding such a great day and for just being amazing people!

  What an incredible duo! We came across Lazy Marmalade at the very start of our wedding planning journey and looked no further. We booked straight away and we couldn’t be any happier with that decision. Every element from communication to performance was just perfect. They did a live performance for our first dance which was exactly how we’d pictured it and they responded to every song request we asked for. Honestly just a flawless experience - thank you both so much.

  Amazing band

  We hired lazy marmalade to play at our wedding evening party after my sister saw a few of their videos on TikTok . Well what can I say , best TikTok find ever!!! Honestly these guys are amazing , we had so many amazing comments from all our guest , they really got everyone up dancing .They also sang our first dance song which was really beautiful .We loved every minute ! We will definitely be recommending them to anyone looking for a band . Thank you once again guys you were great .😊
