Lovely People

We really enjoyed our experience with Lazy Marmalade. Jon was incredible with communicating with us, and we had a packet explaining everything we needed to know ahead of time. We chose the evening only package and they really made sure everyone had a good chance. My main piece of advice because it was our fault not theirs is to make sure that if you are serving evening food (we had pizza) it doesn't come in time with any live sets so nobody misses it, they are fantastic performers, and even then the dance floor was never empty. My bridesmaids especially adored the last set and Ive had people telling me for days that their feet are sore because they couldn't stop dancing. I would absolutely recommend them.

We feel so lucky to have Lazy Marmalade as part of our day!

We booked Lazy Marmalade two years before our wedding after discovering them on Instagram. From the very first interaction, everything was seamless. Their communication was clear, professional, and reassuring, which made planning so much easier.

On the day, they were absolute pros. They arrived and set up so discreetly. Zero stress, just smooth sailing!

We chose a package that included performances during our drinks reception and evening party, and they absolutely nailed both. Their energy was infectious, and they kept the vibe alive all night long. We received so many compliments from guests about how incredible they are.

We were both nervous about doing a first dance but they knew exactly when to bring everyone on the dance floor, and something we were nervous about turned into a really magical moment.

We feel so lucky to have Lazy Marmalade as part of our day. Truly worth every penny!

We cannot recommend Jon and Alex from Lazy Marmalade highly enough! They were absolutely incredible from start to finish. They played during our ceremony, the drinks reception, and our evening party (with a DJ set in between) — and kept the energy perfect for every moment of the day.

They even learnt and performed our first dance song, which made it so special and personal. Their musicianship was top-quality, they were super professional, and genuinely lovely people to have around on such an important day.

So many of our guests commented on how amazing the music was, and we couldn’t agree more. Excellent value for money and worth every penny. If you’re looking for talented, reliable, and all-round brilliant musicians for your wedding or event — Lazy Marmalade are the ones!

Top class entertainment

We cannot thank Alex and Jon enough for providing such top-class entertainment for our wedding day! They went above and beyond to create an unbeatable atmosphere. We never imagined dancing that much on our wedding day, but the music was next level and so great to have all the guests on the dancefloor! Lazy marmalade are fantastic!!

We throughly enjoyed having Lazy Marmalade at our wedding. They were amazing. They played a great range of songs and our guests loved them! It was really special having our first dance song sung by them too.

Jon and Alex responded to all communications really quickly, and are both super friendly. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

I literally didn't come off the dance floor all night.

Flawless!!

We booked Lazy Marmalade for our wedding in October 2025. Everything from the initial meeting to the last dance was incredible and expertly managed. Lazy marmalade were very responsive in the build up, were professional on the day (working seamlessly with our other entertainment) and blew the roof off the venue. Some sore feet from dancing the next day - but not a single regret - our dance floor was packed! Thanks again both, mega, mega, MEGA!

Easiest and best wedding decision we made!

When looking for a wedding band, our venue had some very specific criteria to adhere to, and we needed to find a band that would work with our sound restrictions. As soon as I found Lazy Marmalade I knew they were the right choice, initially because I saw that they use digital foot drums instead of acoustic drums, which suited our venue perfectly, and on reviewing their YouTube videos and social media it gave us a great idea of what they would sound like.

The communication was first class from the beginning all the way through to the day, and Alex and Jon were friendly, polite and professional all night too.

Everyone was up and dancing during the live performances, and with such a varied choice of songs there was something that suited everyone. The DJ sets were also great, and they really listened to our playlist requests and read the room in terms of what to play. Despite initially thinking that the digital foot drums might sacrifice the atmosphere or sound, this absolutely was not the case and you had no idea that there was anything different to a usual band, while keeping the venue (and neighbours) happy!

The wedding planning journey can be really stressful, but the band was the simplest, easiest decision we made and we were absolutely thrilled with everything they did. I would highly recommend Lazy Marmalade to anyone - absolute gold standard of wedding bands! Thank you so much Alex and Jon for really making our wedding the "big party" vibe we wanted!

The best band and loveliest guys! 😊

I booked Lazy Marmalade for our wedding day back in May 2024 before I’d even secured our venue, I was that confident. And I was right! We truly couldn’t have wished for more from Alex & Jon. They are both true professionals and our dance floor was never empty. I couldn’t really pay them a higher compliment than booking them again a couple of months later to play my 30th birthday party in July this year! Again, they were incredible, the dance floor was bouncing (literally) and the night was a huge success. Not only do we love watching them perform, Alex & Jon are the loveliest guys to have around and it’s a pleasure to see them rock up ☺️ We wouldn’t have anyone else! Thank you again for helping to make two special occasions so wonderful - we hope to dance around with you again one day! 😁 Leah & Matt (& pretty much the whole gang!) xx

Amazing - Lazy marmalade!

If you want a friendly, professional and outstanding band these two are the ones ! Alex and Jon are phenomenal!!!! They had our guests dancing all night and nothing was a problem! They travelled 4 hours to be with us and we couldn’t have asked for more!! Thank you from mr & mrs Wallace 14/09/25
