Hi! I’m Sasha 👋 I’m the singer and founder of Schmooze Events.
If you book Schmooze, you’re not booking through a big entertainment agency – you’ll be chatting directly with me, and I’m also the singer you’ll find roaming out on the dance floor with you and your guests at most of our weddings!
Schmooze is my small team of brilliant musicians and DJs that I’ve personally worked with over the years. We can take care of as much or as little of your wedding music as you’d like, from a beautiful live acoustic aisle song, to drinks reception music in the sunshine, right through to a full dance floor with our most popular DJ, live vocals and sax.
Ceremony and drinks reception packages start from just £500 and evening DJ packages with live musicians start from just £1,350.
The best weddings don’t all sound the same, and we don’t think yours should either!

Day packages include our pro sound system. Evening party packages include our professional sound & lighting setup, DJ setup, personalised music, + everything needed to bring your wedding party to life
How far in advance should I contact you?
As soon as you have your date. We're a small team rather than a large agency, so popular dates can book early. We do sometimes have last-minute availability though, so always ask :)

Absolutely! We love making the music personal to you. We can often learn a special ceremony or first-dance song, and we'll chat through your must-plays, requests and favourites beforehand

We're professional musicians with 12+ years of experience and thousands of events under our belts, from UK weddings to overseas events. some of our artists also have millions of music streams online!

Do you need specific materials or conditions to offer your service?
No
Can you travel?
Yes, absolutely! We're Yorkshire-based but perform at weddings across the UK and overseas. Send me your venue when you enquire and I'll work everything out for you
Is there a charge for travelling?
Yes, this depends on your venue. Any travel costs will always be clearly included in your personalised quote from the start, so there are no unexpected extras later
Do you cover more than one wedding a day?
No
Do you work alone or do you have a team of professionals?

What is the length of time of the act?
Daytime music is usually 2 x 45 mins over 3 hours. Evening party packages typically run 7pm-midnight with DJ throughout and 3 x 30 mins with our live musicians. We can tailor our timings to your day
How much time do you need to prepare for an act?
Usually 30-60 minutes depending on your package. We'll arrange everything beforehand and let you know our arrival time, so it's one less thing for you to worry about!

Do you charge per hour or per event?

How do you charge extra time?
This depends on your package and our availability. Let's know what you need in advance and we'll build it into our package and pricing plans
What are the forms of payment?
Booking is easy - sign your digital booking form and pay your deposit to secure the date. The remaining balance isn't due until the month of your wedding. Payments are by bank transfer

Absolutely amazing!
We booked the daytime acoustic guitar package with evening pro dj singer and sax and we were really impressed with everything Sasha and her guys did for us. If there was any questions I had Sasha always responds promptly and with a friendly manner I felt like I was talking to a friend. Nothing was ever a problem, and we got exactly what we asked for and more we loved having you entertain our guests. Highly recommended!!

Best Entertainment Ever!
Sasha and the team at Schmooze were the best entertainment we could've asked for at our wedding. From the start, they were incredibly friendly, professional, and easy to communicate with, helping us put together a set list that perfectly suited our guests and the atmosphere we wanted for the day.
On the night itself, Sasha’s performance was absolutely incredible - she's such an amazing singer! And the DJ absolutely nailed the music throughout the evening, reading the crowd perfectly, and playing the right songs at exactly the right time to keep everyone on the dance floor. So many of our guests commented on how great they were!
We would highly recommend Schmooze to anyone looking for talented, reliable, and genuinely lovely wedding entertainment. Thank you for helping make our wedding so special!

Wow, where do I even start. Sasha and the team were honestly amazing, I don’t have a single regret or criticism booking this. I booked the casual singer and guitar during the reception which was perfect, I remember walking into my reception and thinking wow! We then booked the singer, sax and DJ for the evening and it was honestly incredible. It really brought the party vibes. Anyone thinking of booking, don’t hesitate and do it!! Thank you so much Sasha and the team, you made our day even more special! ❤️

Trust us, these guys are the best!
We searched for hours for music for our wedding day and party, but my hubby found Hitched and Schmooze popped up. We sent an enquiry and got a reply the next day. It was a bit of back and forth to get the package we wanted across the day but once we decided the rest was a breeze. On the night the team were absolutely fab, we got what we paid for and more. They undersell themselves, they're even better than we thought, but they said because they're a small team who manage themselves they just need time to build, which I'm sure they will. I honestly can't fault a thing about the service, just book them, you won't be disappointed.

Best event ever thanks to Schmooze!!
It was my first time using schmooze events and it certainly won’t be my last! The quality, creativity and professionalism is amazing! Amazing musicians!
I can’t praise these guys enough. We booked the singer, DJ and bongos and they all were so so great! We had so many compliments! Booking through schmooze was really easy; great communication and we really felt looked after. Thank you for helping make our day incredible, it was so much fun!

Amazing musicians!
We booked Schmooze after a friend recommended them to us and all expectations were completely exceeded! Sash and her team were so friendly and helpful, they did everything we wanted and more. We wanted a sax player and drummer to perform with Sash plus a DJ in between and they were all amazing. Their enthusiasm was infectious and they even had my 93 year old grandad up and dancing with us! We would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a party atmosphere, everything from start to finish was perfect. The dancefloor was completely full and their professionalism and attitude was so uplifting. We’ve been to other weddings where it feels like the entertainment was just a set list, Sash went well above and beyond anything we’ve ever seen before to create a bespoke personalised set including all of our favourite songs which was so amazing that most of our guests said it’s the best wedding they’ve ever been to! I wish we could do it all again, we are definitely considering having an anniversary party next year so we can invite everyone back! Thank you so so so much, we absolutely loved it. Highly recommended! 11/10 ❤️

WOW, thank you!
We booked singer and dj option thinking we would keep it small for our (very stretched) budget but also for our expectations given we didn't book a big act. How wrong we were! Schmooze was the best decision we made for our wedding, they were incredible. The DJ, Chrissy, made sure our music was bang on point for our tastes and the singer...what do I say about the singer! So much cooler than we pictured, a typical 'wedding singer' she is nothing like, and so so very talented. Our jaws were dropped at those big noted, what a voice, honestly Sasha, so incredible. Brilliant evening entertainment!
I'm so glad we chose Schmooze for our evening entertainment at our wedding! Sasha was great to work with throughout. She was very helpful and reliable - and put us together a bespoke package of DJ and Sax that was both within our budget and also included the sax player we really wanted. We were delighted!
On the night, the DJ and Sax player were both amazing, not only were they talented musicians but they fitted in perfectly with the warm and fun-loving vibes of the wedding! The whole evening really flowed and got the crowd up and dancing! We really appreciate how they were able to accommodate our song requests, including one from our favourite band Goldfish - it made the evening feel really special.
Definitely check out their website and Instagram if you're thinking about hiring them, they were fantastic and we would highly recommend!
