Hello! My name is Sasha, and I'm the lead singer and founder of Schmooze Events, our small musician-led entertainment service.
Our packages include:
- DJ Package
- Live Singer
- Saxophonist
- Acoustic Duo/Trio
- DJ Party Package with Live Sax, Singer, and/or Bongos
As a proudly independent small business, our small team of pro musicians take pride in our excellent service and fair prices. Our team consists of close friends and long-term musicians who, over the years, have become true pros at delivering exceptional entertainment for weddings and private events.
Services Offered:
We can provide ceremony music, reception music, and all-day packages.
Our booking system is run by me, Sash Sings, your lead singer, which means there is no middleman involved and no expensive agency fees! This allows for our best prices, quick response times, expert advice, and the ability to tailor a completely unique experience for every wedding.
We can provide our own PA system, DJ booth, DJ lighting and sound management with our DJ packages, making us fully self-contained.
Lastly, but importantly, we are fully PAT and PLI insured, and we have backup performers on our roster in case of emergencies.
With a deep love for watching our couples feel pure joy at their weddings, we collaborate closely with you to make sure you get the music of your dreams!

What is included in the wedding package?
Our wedding packages can include our live musicians, professional Bose PA system, sound management, DJ booth, DJ lighting and our personalised-to-you playlists. We can also learn your special song!
How far in advance should I contact you?
As soon as possible. We're a small team of pro musicians, so we book up fast!

Is it possible to request something that's not in the repertoire?
Yes, we're more than happy to take on your requests or to learn a special song for you. We can discuss these in advance and find out the best way of including them in our sets
What's your experience?
Our team has worked together for over 10 years. We have performed at 1000's of weddings here in the UK + overseas! We're also professional music artists + have millions of streams on Spotify + Youtube

Can you travel?
Yes, we cover the whole of the UK. We are also willing to travel overseas and often perform at destination weddings!
Is there a charge for travelling?
Yes, we include our travel charges in our final quote
Do you cover more than one wedding a day?

Do you work alone or do you have a team of professionals?

What is the length of time of the act?
Our daytime acts typically cover 2 x 45 mins, with background music between sets, over 3 hours. Our evening acts usually include DJ from 7-Midnight with 3 x 30 mins live from our musicians
How much time do you need to prepare for an act?
Our acts typically require between 30 minutes to 1 hour for setup. This will be discussed at the time of booking
Do you do open-air acts?
Yes
Do you charge per hour or per event?
Per event
If needed, would you be able to work extra hours?
Yes
How do you charge extra time?
This depends on the act you book, however as an example, our DJ can offer extra time at £75 per hour by the hour
What are the forms of payment?
We take bank transfer/cash only. We send you a digital booking form to sign and a deposit invoice in order confirm your booking. Your final balance then isn't due until the month of your wedding

Trust us, these guys are the best!
We searched for hours for music for our wedding day and party, but my hubby found Hitched and Schmooze popped up. We sent an enquiry and got a reply the next day. It was a bit of back and forth to get the package we wanted across the day but once we decided the rest was a breeze. On the night the team were absolutely fab, we got what we paid for and more. They undersell themselves, they're even better than we thought, but they said because they're a small team who manage themselves they just need time to build, which I'm sure they will. I honestly can't fault a thing about the service, just book them, you won't be disappointed.

Best event ever thanks to Schmooze!!
It was my first time using schmooze events and it certainly won’t be my last! The quality, creativity and professionalism is amazing! They really listened to what I wanted and took the entertainment to the next level. Guests didn’t want the night to end and they really made the event the success it was. Thank you so much. Amazing musicians!
I can’t praise these guys enough. We booked the singer, DJ and bongos and they all were so so great! We had so many compliments! Booking through schmooze was really easy; great communication and we really felt looked after. Thank you for helping make our day incredible, it was so much fun!

Professional and easy to communicate with
At the moment, I have not had this service as I am getting married in September 2025 but I felt the ease of emailing them with my requests and their help with discussing a wedding timeline very comforting as I was feeling a bit overwhelmed at the start of the process. The internet site was easy to navigate and the form was easy to fill in and I can not wait to have these entertainers at my wedding when the time comes.

Brilliant evening entertainment!
I'm so glad we chose Schmooze for our evening entertainment at our wedding! Sasha was great to work with throughout. She was very helpful and reliable - and put us together a bespoke package of DJ and Sax that was both within our budget and also included the sax player we really wanted. We were delighted!
On the night, the DJ and Sax player were both amazing, not only were they talented musicians but they fitted in perfectly with the warm and fun-loving vibes of the wedding! The whole evening really flowed and got the crowd up and dancing! We really appreciate how they were able to accommodate our song requests, including one from our favourite band Goldfish - it made the evening feel really special.

Incredible!
From start to finish I cannot recommend Schmooze events enough. Sash have us so much help up front deciding what we wanted and what might work best and on the day the music and entertainment provided was seamless and incredible! So many people asked me for their details and I’m always happy to recommend because they made our day so incredible whilst keeping it really personal to us.

WOW, thank you!
We booked singer and dj option thinking we would keep it small for our (very stretched) budget but also for our expectations given we didn't book a big act. How wrong we were! Schmooze was the best decision we made for our wedding, they were incredible. The DJ, Chrissy, made sure our music was bang on point for our tastes and the singer...what do I say about the singer! So much cooler than we pictured, a typical 'wedding singer' she is nothing like, and so so very talented. Our jaws were dropped at those big noted, what a voice, honestly Sasha, so incredible.
