Deejay Raww, founder of Raw Sounds Ltd, is an experienced open-format DJ specialising in weddings and events across London and the surrounding areas.

Recently joined Hitched, but bringing years of experience across weddings, clubs, corporate events, festivals and private celebrations, Deejay Raww is used to performing for different crowds and adapting to the atmosphere on the night.

His approach is all about reading the room properly, mixing across generations and keeping the couple’s own music tastes at the centre of the wedding. Rather than relying on the same set playlist every time, each wedding is built around the couple, their guests and what is working on the dancefloor.

Before the wedding, couples can discuss their first dance, favourite artists, must-play songs, songs to avoid and the overall direction they want for the evening. Guest requests are also welcome where they fit the couple’s preferences and the atmosphere of the night.

His wider experience across club nights, corporate events and large-scale live events has developed strong mixing, crowd-reading and timing skills, along with an understanding of when to build the energy, change direction or let a big moment breathe.
