A great DJ to keep you dancing the night away!
Wedding party with a bang 💥 🎶 🎧 🔊
We love music and this was a huge part that we needed to get right for our day. Fortunately James ticked every box and smashed it!
We hired two bands (one in the day and one in the evening) and then wanted James to DJ from 12 until 3. He asked us to put some of the tunes we liked together on a playlist and then he got a feel for the vibe we were after.
Our bands liaised with James prior and throughout our day to ensure that the transition for each was seamless.
We also requested James to mix a ‘walk in song’ for us to make our grand entrance as a married couple before our wedding breakfast. We thought it was impossible to mix Pitbull and Oasis but somehow James pulled it off to give us the best entrance we could imagine.
All of our guests commented about how incredible our DJ was and that the party vibe continued throughout the whole day and into the early hours.
We cannot recommend James enough, no matter what type of party you are after, James has definitely got it in the locker!

Hi,
I am James and I am the proud owner of Opulent Sounds. I started this business with my brother-in-law back in 2018, and then took it iver independently in 2024. I specialise in luxury weddings and understand the importance of the day. You have one opportunity to get it right and for that reason alone, I will leave no stone unturned and will ask as many questions as necessary to ensure the smooth running of the day.
I have grown up listerning to a wide range of music, and have developed my skills to ensure that I am confident in mixing all music genres, eras and styles. My personal favourites to mix are R&B, Dance and House music but I do also have a soft spot for 80s.
Before booking a client in the diary, it is important that through our communication, you are the right fit for me and my brand and vice versa. It is not just about the money. My clients must share the same love for music and ideally love to get on the dancefloor and set the vibe for the day/evening.
