Modica is an acoustic wedding band based in Bristol, England. Ben Cipolla and Hesta Banks perform covers of heartwarming hits by your favourite artists, including Elvis, Etta James, Joni Mitchell, Bob Marley, Elton John, Ed Sheeran, and more. They have performed to audiences in Europe, the United States, Thailand, and New Zealand, and they would love to bring that extra bit of magic to your wonderful wedding celebration.

Services Offered

Modica is all about making beautiful music and sharing joy. Ben and Hesta can provide music for your ceremony, drinks reception, and wedding breakfast. They offer a complimentary virtual mini gig so that you can get to know them and discuss ideas for your celebration. You can choose up to 10 songs from their list, and they are happy to learn up to three new songs for no additional charge. Ben and Hesta perform at wedding venues all across the United Kingdom. They also offer virtual gigs and dance lessons.

Is it possible to request something that's not in the repertoire?

You can choose at least 10 songs from our song list & we will complete the setlist with more music that compliments your style. We can learn up to 3 songs that are not on the song list free of charge

What's your experience?

Creating a fun, friendly and relaxed atmosphere is at the heart of what we do. This is why we offer a mini virtual gig, free of charge, so that we can get to know each other before your wedding

Do you need specific materials or conditions to offer your service?

Yes, we provide PAT Tested Amplification and have Public Liability Insurance. Our set-up requires us to be in the shade and no further than 10metres away from a plug socket

Is there a charge for travelling?

Yes, £0.45 per mile

Do you cover more than one wedding a day?

A 90 minute set of continuous acoustic covers (solo and duo) without breaks - this can include our own originals if requested

How much time do you need to prepare for an act?

Typically we would need two weeks to prepare for a wedding

How do you charge extra time?

We charge an extra £300 per hour on-top of our typical rate

What are the forms of payment?

We would require a deposit of £300 to confirm the booking. BACS bank transfer is preferable. The remaining fee can be paid just before or after the wedding
