Masti Music is an Award-Winning DJ, Dhol and Live Band. Aamir (AKA Beats & Smiles) is an internationally experienced DJ, Dhol Player and Musician who has performed for global brands such as Red Bull, Nando's, Renault, Duolingo and the BBC, and has been across the globe to perform from Las Vegas to Majorca to Italy. Masti have also been featured on the BBC Asian Network and Aamir has DJ'd for legends from both the East - Malkit Singh (Gur Nal Ishq Mitha), Ali Sethi (Pasoori), Lehmber Hussainpuri (Sadi Gali) - and the West (Annie Mac, MistaJam, Charlie Sloth, Big Narstie, Scott Mills and more). He runs the solo DJ Roadshow Beats & Smiles, Winner at the Hitched Wedding Awards 2024 under the Music & DJ category.
As well as being a top-tier DJ and also a Dhol player, providing a unique single point of call for your big day entertainment, Aamir is also part of Masti Band - a three-piece live band crowned Best Band 2024 at the prestigious UK Bhangra Awards! Masti are a family band - father, son, and uncle - who have performed as part of BBC Children In Need, BBC Christmas Specials, and more, with Live TV performances too, and in December went viral worldwide for creating a Desi Christmas Song (Jingle Bells Remix!), racking up millions of views. Masti perform a selection of Bollywood and Bhangra bangers - and also reimagine English songs with a Bhangra twist! Masti have been featured by the BBC multiple times and have performed at Mela's nationally, including Glasgow Mela, Luton Mela (DesiFest), Manchester Mela, Sheffield Mela, Leicester Mela, Nottingham Mela, and more. They have shared stages with Juggy D, Apache Indian, Shin (DCS), Roach Killa, Apna Sangeet, Zack Knight, Sahara, Faizan Ali Khan, and more. Masti's unique creative English remixes (turning English songs into Bhangra songs - from Queen, to Beyonce, to Montell Jordan, Freed From Desire and more, amongst all the biggest Bollywood and Bhangra Bangers) saw them crowned Best Band as they bring Desi culture to new audiences.

The BEST DJ we could have ever asked for!!!
I honestly don’t have enough words for this superstar — the ultimate powerhouse of energy — AAMIRRRR!!! Calling him the best DJ in the world would still be an understatement. From the moment he set up and grabbed the mic, our wedding turned into an absolute BLAST!
Aamir’s energy is unmatched — he can transform even the quietest room into a full-on party. His song selection was spot-on, blending Pakistani and British hits perfectly for our fusion wedding. And when he came on stage with the Dhol… that was it! The entire crowd jumped up — even my mum, who has never danced before, couldn’t resist joining in.
But beyond being an incredible DJ, Aamir is an amazing human being. I genuinely found a brother in him. He paid attention to every detail, respected all my preferences, and even made last-minute changes to my dance playlist with a smile. He arrived hours before the event to make sure everything was flawless and coordinated seamlessly with all our other suppliers.
