Hello! I'm Liam McClair, a singing pianist and singing guitarist. I am the perfect musical addition to your special day.
Whether that is background chilled acoustic and piano songs to set a relaxed atmosphere as everyone mingles during the drinks reception and wedding breakfast, or upbeat sing-along songs to get everyone dancing and screaming Mr Brightside at the top of their lungs!
I've performed at hundreds of weddings during my 10 years in the industry, and they have all been amazing. I've played at rooftop bars, country houses, castles, private residences, and even on a boat while it cruised along Lake Windermere!
I want to make working with me as easy as possible, as weddings are a big undertaking with lots of planning. I have a PAT-tested sound system to amplify my guitar, piano, and voice and my own Public Liability insurance that covers me for up to £5million. I'm happy to liaise directly with venues when necessary to leave less admin jobs for you and your partner.
I'm delighted to take song requests in advance and on the day. I know that weddings are a once-in-a-lifetime event and therefore the music has to be right, you can let me know the songs you love to hear (and those you'd rather I avoid), and I can send over some demos before the big day to ensure it is what you are both looking for. Then, we can make a playlist for the day that suits you and your guests in order to ensure it is adding to your celebrations.

How far in advance should I contact you?
It varies on the event, I've been contacted years in advance and weeks in advance so I'm very flexible. Usually the sooner you contact the more likely it is I will be available on that date

Is it possible to request something that's not in the repertoire?
Yeah, I'm happy to work with couple's to include their favourite songs if it isn't already on my list and also happy to avoid songs the couple would prefer not hear. I can send demo's beforehand

Absolutely fantastic!!!
We hired Liam for our wedding 2 weeks ago and have no regrets whatsoever! We had a small wedding and Liam played our ceremony, drinks reception, wedding breakfast and evening reception. He was absolutely the right vibe for us! Liam made our ceremony absolutely perfect, and he had everyone clapping during our wedding breakfast and dancing into our evening reception. He played a mix of piano and guitar, upbeat and slower songs, classics and newer songs.
Liam was professional throughout, communication was superb, and he was really reassuring when something cropped up in his personal life.

The best wedding entertainer!
Liam is a fantastic entertainer and we loved that he sang for us at our wedding on 30th May 2026, Kenwood Hall, Sheffield. We first saw Liam perform at a work event and we really loved his style and vibe. We were absolutely thrilled when he said he performed at weddings and was available for our date. Liam was with us for most of our day and sang throughout our wedding ceremony, drinks reception and for our wedding breakfast. Liam is very talented and all our guests enjoyed his performance, Liam got all our guests singing along and partying, it truly was a fantastic day! Highly recommended, cheers Liam! xx

Amazing singer
Liam was absolutely amazing at our wedding he sang at our drinks reception which was 2.5 hours long ! Every guest has complimented how fab he was ! He really brought a great vibe. I would not hesitate to recommend Liam to anyone getting married. He went out of his way to learn requested songs which were not on his already extensive repertoire! I don't think any review could do justice for how fab he was ! I can't wait to go and watch Liam at other events in the future!!

Liam was an incredible singer who performed at our welcome service and drinks reception. From the start, he was so helpful—going back and forth with us on song choices and even sending sample tracks, which made the whole process feel really personal and easy.

Super great wedding singer!
Liam Paul was amazing! Pre-wedding, all the preps and conversations were so free-flowing and easy, and was accommodating to our extra song requests as well. He was so engaging with our guests during the wedding reception and we loved his laidback vibe style, it really blended so well with our intimate wedding reception setup.

Liam is amazing!
Liam played at our wedding recently and was brilliant. He did an hour at our wedding reception and had a really great and broad setlist to choose from, he's a great singer and really gets people up dancing.
He also learnt a song especially for me walking down the aisle which was really kind of him.

Fantastic booking for our wedding
Liam did our drinks reception for the wedding. His communication was great leading up to the day and he was really accommodating. We’re so pleased we booked Liam as he was such a great addition, we couldn’t wait to listen to him play. He helped us create some special memories and was great with our three year old who loved having a dance. We would highly recommend Liam to anyone!

Excellent singer!

Fantastic service
Liam performed at our wedding drinks reception and was fantastic. In the run up to the day he was really helpful and responsive, and on the day he created a lovely atmosphere for guests. He provided the chilled vibes we wanted with a great acoustic setlist wonderfully performed. Fantastic service and would recommend to others.

Wedding in the lakes
We booked Liam for the full day of our wedding back in February 2024 . He performed right from the aisle song , after the ceremony, during the wedding breakfast and into the evening including the first dance . We had seen Liam performing in Manchester years ago and we were over the moon when we contacted him and he was available for our special day. We chose most of our songs from listening to the examples he had performed at previous weddings and how amazing he was when he sung them in his own style . All my guests commented on how talented he was and how it was such a nice touch having a live singer playing the guitar and he just blended in for the whole day . The communication with Liam was exceptional, he even sent me demos of him singing our first dance songs which was two songs blended in. I would highly recommend Liam to perform at your wedding especially if you want that extra touch and believe me you won’t be disappointed.

One of the best parts of the day!
We absolutely loved every part of having Liam as part of our day. Communication was amazing and he learnt so many new songs for us. He fit in so well with our small venue. 10000/10!
