Where to start. We had the most amazing day which was topped off with the perfect wedding evening thanks to Luke. When planning the wedding we had to decide between a live band or a dj and had been to a couple of weddings where the dance floor was pretty quiet with a DJ so we were a bit nervous but we needn’t have been nervous with Luke and Platinum Disco. The whole night was absolutely perfect! The dance floor was busy from start to finish and we even had a later finish of 1am so it’s a testament to Luke for keeping the dance floor buzzing right until the end.
He did a cracking job of balancing more wedding classics at the beginning for our elder relatives to leading up to 90s and 2000s pop hits that I (the bride) like and indie songs which my husband liked, and the guests on the dance floor absolutely loved it all.
We also ordered some uplighting through Luke which was a great decision as the change of the colours around the room really lit up the space and helped give the dance floor that fun and vibrant feel.
Luke also allowed requests on the night and songs dedicated to guests through the microphone which added another element of fun and inclusivity for all.
Thank you Luke and your team for a night that was better than we could have imagined! If you’re looking for a DJ then Luke at Platinum Disco is an absolute must! -

What can I say! Luke is incredible! From the initial first contact Luke made the effort to set up a call and discuss all of our requirements for the day, we then had a follow up call nearer the time, he is very down to earth, friendly and very professional! We had an issue with our flooring at the venue and was concerned where the DJ bit would be set up, but after a FaceTime call to Luke he made us feel at ease and nothing was ever a problem!
On the day Luke went above and beyond for us, he made sure everything run so smoothly, we didn’t have a wedding coordinator as I had organised everything myself but he took it upon himself to just step in and make sure everything run well from little things to ensuring each table went up for food at the right time to talking with our photographer to organise some bits that we wanted to do! The games were fun during the wedding breakfast and the music was just perfect!!
We hired our mirror photo booth and our love letters from him also.
I would 100% recommend this company if you ever need a DJ and more.
Thank you again Luke for making our day so wonderful!

Luke was amazing. The build up to the wedding was perfect we met at the venue before to double check power points get to know the layout and sort out Mike issues for the ceremony and talked over playlists and sets etc.. he’s so easy going laid back and great to talk to. Honestly trusted he knew what to do from the second we started talking and just knew that he would cover it all without me having to worry. I was super stressed leading up to the wedding and put my playlist in a little bit late and my wedding songs but Luke was still amazing and quickly built them into his set for us. The whole day was perfect. We played a few games on the day and all my guests thought they was absolutely brilliant we all had so much fun. I’ve been to weddings where stuff like that doesn’t happen and it’s a bit boring so we definitely had more fun than the average wedding. The dance floor just married sign and magic mirror was a huge hit too. EVERYONE loved the mirror ! Thank you so much for the amazing album at the end it was so funny reading drunk messages and seeing the photos in it the next day. A MUCH Better way to have a guest book ! Honestly from start to finish the whole day was perfect Luke was constantly checking us seeing if we was okay did we need anything but we didn’t we was having so much fun. My brother passed away a few years back and he enjoyed jungle music and this is something I mentioned in my speech so at the end of the night luke played a few jungle songs for him without me asking. It was such a lovely thought and even though none of us like jungle because it was a few dances for my brother everyone even my 80 year old Nan and grandad was up and dancing to the all. That was absolutely hilarious and something we will never forget. I had the most amazing day and honestly I couldn’t recommend platinum disco more ! Please use them if your considering it you won’t regret it for a second. Thank you Luke and Lui ❤️❤️

Luke did a fantastic job DJing at our Wedding Reception. We had numerous guests getting in touch with us afterwards letting us know how much then enjoyed and how great the music selection was. We only selected about half of the tracks played, so great credit to Luke's skill.
Luke was very communicative throughout the process and was really helpful in guiding us through and letting us know what to think about and his options. Luke's whole setup is very customisable and flexible to any kind of venue. His portal is also very helpful in guiding which songs are best played during the stages of the wedding.
Would definitely recommend for any wedding venue and for anyone looking for a stellar disco! -

Such a responsive and quick service throughout. Luke who helped bring everything together couldn’t have done more for us in the run up to the big day. It’s also really interactive as we got so much say in songs we wanted to hear to those that were on the do not go there list! They were so slick with setting up I didn’t even notice them at all! There was a slight hiccup with the 1st dance when the wrong song came on first of all but was then quickly rectified and had left us with a funny story! All in all so pleased we used Platinum Disco for our DJ. The extras we hired too including the Magic Mirror was really popular and they even bespokely designed the background to match my husbands Kilt! Great service, thank you!
