Luke was just brilliant. We had absolutely no idea how to pick a DJ, but from the first conversation it was clear Luke knew exactly what he was doing - he put us so at ease, it made the decision easy for us. The planning process was completely smooth and Luke answered any questions instantly (including texting us from his holiday!). Logistical issues about microphones were no issue at all. We had the mood lighting package and Luke worked beautifully to preserve the character of the space, it looked absolutely lovely. On the day, everything went completely smoothly, without the slightest hitch. Would whole-heartedly recommend Luke and Platinum to anyone, and plan to ask Luke to DJ all our weddings from here on in should things not work out! -

You’ve found your dj
We hired platinum disco with Luke as our DJ and he was absolutely brilliant! He really knew his stuff and had everyone on the dance floor all night. From start to finish, Luke was professional, prompt, and such a genuinely nice guy. He even took the time to sit down with us beforehand to go through exactly what would happen on the night, which really put us at ease.
We also hired a dance floor with uplighting and a photo booth — both were fantastic additions! The photo booth was a massive hit with all our guests, and the photo book we received afterwards is just hilarious — such a great keepsake full of fun memories.
Would highly recommend Luke and his team to anyone looking to make their event unforgettable! -

Luke the manager of the company was just amazing from start to finish. His communication is brilliant and he replies to any queries pretty much instantly throughout the whole planning process. Angus the DJ we had was also just brilliant. He was so professional throughout and he acted as the best host creating so many special memories for us. He had all of the guests on their feet waving napkins as we walked in for the wedding breakfast and he also had the guests on the dance floor the entire night! The dance floor was absolutely packed. I chose this company because their reviews are outstanding and a DJ is not something you should take a chance on as it’s such an integral part of the day. Of course we were not disappointed and I’d recommend this company to anyone! -

Would highly recommend Luke. From the start Luke was responsive and answered all of our questions. In the evening Luke created the best atmosphere. We constantly had people on the dance floor. A bit of everything was played which meant everyone could get involved. I've had nothing but complements about how amazing Luke was. If you need a DJ Luke is definitely your guy -

Luke and his team DJ’d the evening reception of our wedding at Braxted Park in April 2025. They were amazing from the moment we requested a quote all the way to the final song of the night! Luke was extremely responsive and really enthusiastic about DJ’ing our wedding, providing lots of advice about the setup and being easily contactable when we had any questions. We had people on the dance floor all night, with Luke really hitting the right vibe of the night and playing exactly the sort of music we wanted. We would 100% recommend them. Thank you so much for making our day so incredible!! -

We used Platinum to DJ our wedding. It was a long and complex day, with set up required in three different rooms as well as an outside speaker. In the lead up, Luke was absolutely brilliant and helpful, incredibly solutions-oriented in the face of our many many questions and complications. On the day itself our DJ, Angus, was also superb. Everything ran very smoothly - he set it all up perfectly and also his song choices beyond what we picked were all great. Really couldn't recommend them higher. -

Luke was an amazing DJ for our wedding on Saturday! Everything ran so smoothly from the day we booked him to the day of our wedding. At the start of wedding planning, we had to change our wedding venue - but Luke assured us that that was no problem. The online portal that we fill out for our song requests was very straight forward and easy to use! We had the magic mirror and LOVE letters too which was a total hit for our wedding. The magic mirror came with so many props too, everyone that used it absolutely loved it, the added photo album for us to take home was a generous added touch for us to look back on.
Luke was very attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. From making sure we were happy with the set up, to ensuring all the best songs were played. Luke set everything up very swiftly as we were worried about the timeline of the day, but he made sure everything was ready to go for when evening guests arrived. I would 100% recommend to anyone looking for a DJ for their wedding, or any event!
