Wow wow wow, Ian where do we even begin!
I wish everybody reading this could witness what you pulled off for our wedding. From the very first zoom meeting you listened to everything we said and really tried to understand us as individuals and as a couple. On the day you made every single person in that room feel alive. You worked with us to merge our two cultures (Iraqi and Irish) and included all the songs we desperately wanted to have played for our friends and family. You were the biggest hype man, the best BEST DJ and we could not have imagined a second of that evening without you there. The dry ice show, the confetti and the illuminated display were so spectacular during our first dance, everybody in the room was so impressed and we’ve had endless compliments on how fab you were. Ian, you were everything we have ever dreamed off, I hope the world can appreciate you the way we do. Words are simply not enough! I will be screaming about how incredible SO Discos are for a very very very long time. Thank you for making our wedding genuinely the best party we’ve ever been to!SoDiscos's reply:

Best DJ and Compére!!
We were absolutely blown away by Ian! From the moment we first spoke with him, he took the time to really get to know us and understand exactly what we wanted for our day. As our DJ and compère, he was nothing short of brilliant from start to finish.
Ian kept the whole day running smoothly, brought so much energy and warmth, and made every moment feel personal. Our guests absolutely loved him—so many people commented on how fantastic he was and how much fun he made the day. The music was perfect, the atmosphere was incredible, and he truly helped make our wedding the best day ever.
We couldn’t have asked for anyone better. If you want someone who genuinely cares, connects with your guests, and knows how to create an unforgettable celebration, Ian is your guy. Highly, highly recommended!

For our wedding we wanted someone with a fantastic set up, great music and a great personality. We found Ian at a Knebworth Barns wedding fair and as soon as we saw his impressive set up and chatted to him we knew he would do us proud. And he did just that. Not only playing great music and having the dance floor packed all night during our first dance Ian and Mark Dunn (our incredible photographer) put a selection of photos from the ceremony and put them on Ian’s DJ booth screen so everyone who came in the evening saw how the day had gone. He also supplied a PA System for us to use for a short live music set which was brilliant.
Since the wedding at Knebworth, all I've had is guests say to me how amazing the day went and had a great time on the dance floor.
As I deal with planning entertainment functions in my spare time Ian is now my go to DJ. Simply brilliant, highly professional and an all round Top Man! Simply the Best!

If you're looking for a DJ that won't disappoint, look no further! We were over the moon with the level of service provided from Ian! From day one Ian's communication was top tier! On our wedding day he went way beyond the duties of a DJ and made our day go smoothly from ceremony to midnight. The Mr & Mrs game at the wedding breakfast was such a laugh would recommend picking this! In the evening he kept the dancefloor busy with great songs and read the room well keeping the party atmosphere. We added the saxophonist which everyone really enjoyed and gave our wedding a unique vibe. The after care of sending us videos and photos he had taken was such a great touch and beyond what you would expect. He really made our day stress free and we are very grateful. Ian was amazing! We had one planning call and that is all it took, he listened and took all of our ideas onboard and made our reception one to remember! He kept the vibe going all night and everyone had an amazing time! He did a great job and exceeded my expectations! Also offered us a photo pod which helped capture loads of photos of my guests and even came with an album for us! 100% would recommend!SoDiscos's reply:

Would firstly like to thank Ian@SoDisco for being the most amazing DJ on our special night, patient, thoughtful, talented, funny and just an amazing human! We had the best time and SoDisco helped with making it even more magical with his kind energy and his voice to engage all the guests! The price was more than reasonable and his generous extras to brighten up the dance floor ... He even dropped the photo booth early in the day so we got more use out of it which we are so grateful for.
we are so happy we met SoDisco at our Milling barn open day visit!
If you haven't yet chosen your dj for your special day then Ian is your man, you wont regret or be disappointed!!

The day wouldn’t have been the same without you!
From our first call we knew Ian was the DJ for us!
His constant stream of communication and advice made the whole experience and day seamless.
He is not only a DJ but a great host, with nothing too much trouble. Ian knew how to keep ourselves and the guests on the dance floor all night.
The photo booth was a great addition to the day keeping our guests entertained, this was so much fun and never vacant!
We would recommend you use Ian as your wedding DJ!
