What a brilliant time we had at our wedding- Richard really did make the night what it was- from magic to music, to interacting and having a laugh with us and our guests, we really can't fault him. Even my mum (who isn't a fan of magic) said how great Richard was - high praise indeed! Thank you again, would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a DJ for their event!

We used Headline Entertainment as our wedding DJ and we have zero regrets! We got married in a small venue in Carnoustie, called Carlogie House and there were around 20 guests. The gear was setup silently in the background while we were having our wedding meal. We did provided a playlist of songs to be played throughout the night, however, everyone was so full after the meal that we spent sometime outside. The DJ was also a magician and very skilled in card tricks, so he continued to play music, but joined us outside to entertain us while we struggled with having ate so much. When everyone headed back inside the party was underway and the DJ did well to fit plenty songs from our list in the shorter time that we had left. He was able to match the mood and play snippets of some songs to fit in as much as possible. Would highly recommend.

Richard was a great DJ for our night. Prior to the event he was in regular contact, checking in to make sure that playlists, requests and preferences were considered. On the night Richard was amazing. Going with the flow, and keeping the night flowing, whilst still checking in and making sure that we were happy! Offering suggestions to make the night entertaining for all. His skills as a magician were also not wasted and was greatly appreciated by everyone! Definitely someone who knows his craft and one I would highly recommend. Someone I will definitely consider for future events!

We couldn’t of asked for a better DJ for our wedding Richard was amazing at helping with timings of everything and making sure our night ran smoothly, we had to leave our party due to family ill health and Richard entertained everyone in our absence. On our arrival back he made sure we got the welcome we deserved. Everyone has said how amazing he was and how much fun the night was with his vast knowledge of when to play certain songs. We hired Headline Entertainment for our wedding last weekend.
We had 2 consultations with Richard prior to the wedding to discuss music preferences and plan for the day and made a group chat for us to add in any new ideas. Richard made us feel very at ease about the whole thing ( I hate attention and was very anxious about walking down the aisle and first dance). He assured me he would take his cue from me during first dance if it was too much he would get the other guests up to join us sooner.

On the day, Richard was excellent, he was there from earlier in the day and was even there to greet us when we arrived and helped direct the bridesmaids down the aisle.

Richard also sent us short videos of special moments that would have been missed which was so much appreciated.

Richard was able to read the room and played music from every genre. He played games and encouraged the guests to get involved which went down really well.
He interacted with myself, my husband and guests at every opportunity and made it such a special evening.
Richard went above and beyond the duties of a DJ and even helped open the buffet etc.

I would definitely recommend Richard if you are planning a wedding, a party or any event, as he took the time to get to know us on a personal level and definitely made the night for us. Thank you Richard!

Absolutely brilliant, cannot say enough good things. Kept the wedding party going with good tunes and helped get everyone involved, even split the dancing up with some funny challenges and I think every single person was crying laughing! He also went the extra mile on a couple of occasions, organising a ‘first dance’ for my grandparents who have been married 60+ years and also managing some very drunk guests! Lost count of the amount of people who said ‘best DJ ever’ and that they would book him in a heartbeat. Thank you!

Richard made the night go so smoothly, the interaction he had with our guests was second to none, everyone was gobsmacked with the magic and we can’t fault a thing. He made us feel at ease, talked us through our entrances and made sure throughout the night everyone was having fun and enjoying themselves. We unfortunately encountered so many disappointments during our wedding breakfast. My girls spoke with Richard before the evening to let him know. Richard promised to give us the best wedding evening reception and he did not disappoint! He was amazing. Richard came to see David and I just before we did our arrival to reassure us that he would give us the best night ever and he did!! Richard played an entrance song that we wanted and got the guests up and moving! He played all of our special songs, first dance, cake cutting, dad and daughter dance and asked everyone to stand around the dance floor. He wasn’t just a dj, he coordinated our whole evening and was so passionate about getting it right and he totally did!!

Richard entertained our guests with games prior to us coming in, he noticed prior to the wedding that I’m the girl that nips the djs head to play songs and he let me dj at my own wedding! The guests loved it. Richard did our mr and Mrs game and everyone was laughing so much, he was so good at it!! The songs he played were on point. It’s 4 days later and everyone’s still commenting on how good he was. Richard saw guests leaving early and suggested playing loch lomand as I wanted this at the end and I’m so glad he noticed all these little details.

Richard was good with the kids, the guests, he accommodated for everyone. I will never use another DJ again. I’ll always go back to Richard for any future events and 10000000% recommended IRichard to be your DJ. Thanks so much Richard. Richard was very good at pointing us in the right direction as to what to do for the first dance.
He asks you for a playlist of music you would like to be included but plays a lot of other genres to keep your guests on the dance floor. If there is a lull, he will ask guests to take part in a game which will get people back up. He is very professional and knows how to get people on the dance floor and keep them there. Would recommend Headline Entertainment to snyone

We can not thank Richard enough for djing our wedding reception! He was amazing all our guests loved him he read the room amazingly never had an empty dance floor! Would recommend him to anyone. Was always amazing in meetings really got an idea for what we wanted and listened 100% to everything he is amazing at what he does and you can tell he really loves what he does and gives it his all! We couldn’t have been more thrilled with Richard as our DJ for our wedding!
