DJ Manraj is a Birmingham, West Midlands-based wedding and event DJ and live dhol performer, bringing together music across all genres with fourteen years of dhol performance experience. From Punjabi, Bhangra and Bollywood to Hip-Hop, R&B, Pop, House, Afrobeats and party classics, he shapes the soundtrack around your celebration and the people sharing it.
His signature is the DJ-and-dhol combination: blending the flow of a DJ set with the unmistakable energy of live percussion. Whether it’s a baraat, a wedding entrance or a packed reception dance floor, he brings traditional and modern sounds together to connect different cultures and generations. DJ entertainment and dhol performances are available individually or together, with one point of contact for planning your entertainment.
His dhol performance experience includes appearances at the NEC Arena, Aston Villa Football Club and Edgbaston Cricket Ground, alongside weddings, melas, community celebrations and private events. Based in Birmingham, he is available for weddings, parties, corporate functions and venue bookings across the West Midlands and nationwide.
Away from performing, Manraj helps others develop their confidence and musical skills through one-to-one dhol lessons, DJ coaching and group workshops for schools and events. Complete beginners are welcome, with a dhol provided for use during lessons.
