Hi, my name is Laura, currently living In South London and I have over 20 years experience DJing. Throughout the years I have done lots of my own nights in various bars and clubs around London so I know how to throw a good party. I’ve played at weddings, corporate events, kids parties and even fashion shows. Weddings are my favourite though as I love the atmosphere and seeing friends and families coming together to create a memorable day.
I play a wide variety of music. The main styles that I love playing are disco, funk, soul, motown, pop, 80s, 90s, noughties & dance music. I also have an extensive collection of other genres (see below) and am always up for playing different styles and broadening my music knowledge. I have DJed at Weddings for many different cultures, French, Italian, German, Irish, Scottish, Hungarian, Jewish, and a traditional American Alabama Wedding.
I will work with you before your wedding to make sure the music is exactly what you want. You can send me your favourite songs, as many or as little as you want, at least 10 would be great :), and I will work from them or a Spotify playlist. I am also set up to take on-the-spot requests on the night to keep all your friends and family dancing to their favourite songs.
I have all my own professional equipment, including a DJ controller, mixer, speakers, microphone for speeches, disco lights and DJ booth / table. All my equipment is PAT tested, and I have public liability insurance.
I have a few great Saxophonists that I work with and some good LED dancefloor companies too. I'm happy to organise and add these into my DJ package if required.
I am a great communicator, friendly and approachable. If you hire me, I will ensure that I meet all of your needs to ensure it is stress-free and that you will have a great party :)

Laura DJ’ed at our wedding at the Barbican in May 2025, and she was the most impressive person we could have imagined. From the moment we got in touch, right down to the finishing moments on the day - Laura stayed in contact, answered every silly question we had, she never needed reminding about any detail - she LOCKED IT IN THE BAG! And on the day, the crowd went nuts. She can read a room and understand what to play - mad respect. Plus, we had some silly requests like music for outfit changes and she was always on board and up for it!
If I ever have another party like that and need a dj (or honestly if friends are looking for recommendations), Laura is my go to!

We were on the fence about booking a DJ for our special day, but so glad that we did! Laura was exactly what we needed to get people dancing and enjoying themselves all night. She was super professional, quick to reply to all our questions, and played some true bangers on the night. Would highly recommend booking her for your wedding day. First Class!
Even though we only gave Laura about 20 songs to work with, she managed to keep the dancefloor rocking all night by reading the room, weaving in our favourite songs and playing loads of other great stuff that we love. Hi, my name is Laura. I live in London with my son Rio and my cat Coco. I love music. I've been DJing since the late 90’s, started out playing vinyl and doing lots of parties and events all over London. In the past few years, I decided to start my own business, get all my own equipment and start DJing more professionally, prioritising weddings. I love the energy of a wedding. Everybody's always happy and friendly, and it's always a great atmosphere. I love being involved in such a special day.
Due to the amount of time I've been DJing and all the different genres that I've played over the years, I feel this makes me a great wedding DJ, being able to read the room and tailor the music to suit everybody's tastes and make sure everyone has a great night.
