Bio
With 12 years' experience as a DJ, weddings and engagements are the most wholesome and fun occasions that I have had the honour of playing! Working closely with the bride and groom, I deep dive into 'the big idea' of what the wedding reception will actually be like. We explore your ideas, and I ask questions to better understand what to expect. I also take you through some of the challenges of weddings so that we are prepared.
I'm 36, I've been to awful wedding receptions too. Where the DJ plays and everybody rolls their eyes thinking, 'not this one again'. How can you make your wedding reception fun so everybody enjoys it, familiar floor filling bangers, but also make it cool, credible and unique to the music you actually like?
What if people don't dance? What if the older generation aren't dancing? What if the playlist you provide doesn't get the guests going? I have heard every concern under the sun. I am so confident in my ability to be ready for any situation and deliver for your vision that I go through all of this on our first call.
How do I do it?
Listening to playlists and visions for your wedding mean I can tailor the musical brief to your personalities and guests. Playing wedding classics with contemporary chart topping bangers across genres brings the whole of the room together around the most important celebration of your lives.
Another reason couples hire me is when they I have an eclectic playlist. Maybe from different backgrounds or just loving a real mix of music. Sometimes on the classic 90s naughties pop side, sometimes house, and other times super urban.
Most couples hire me for their wedding reception party. Sometimes I'll also play the pre party reception, music to walk down the isle to, to guide the guests on the mic (MC) or play songs to cut your cake to. I have the experience (and the endoresments) to produce a night you won't forget. When you pay for a premium DJ, you pay for the certainty of the delivery. And it's an important memory to create <3, so why leave it to chance?
I bring a rich history of DJ'ing at corporate events for renowned brands such as Steve Madden, Sunglasses Hut, Sainsbury's Adanola and Channel 4. My portfolio includes performances at well known venues such as Sexy Fish, The Ivy Asia, whilst I have also spent many years DJ'ing in the popular commercial clubs of Brighton and London such as Vodka Revolution, Dirty Martini Bar and various pubs and bars across the South of England, so you know I will get the party started and ended on a high ("ONE MORE SONG" I here them cry)
My DJ journey began in beautiful Brighton, where I played in a diverse range of venues, from lively karaoke sing-along bars to the most gritty or ostentatious night spots along the seafront.
I love to play House, Commercial Pop, 80s 90s & 00's, Deep house, RnB HipHop Rap Afrobeat & Reggaeton (as well as many inbetween!)
If you think I could be a good fit for your wedding, let's have a chat.
If you'd like to listen to some of my selections/mixes, you can find many on my website (or extra mixes on my mixcloud). I lead with music. It's not just about the bright shining lights, but the actual musical experience for you and your guests. If you have somewhat of a unique request for music, I'm all ears...
I also provide bespoke lighting packages available on request.

Meet the team
Hello! Raised in Bradford but been in London for 7 years and Brighton for 6. Actually a law graduate, when I left Uni I continued my secret obsession with music and become a singer songwriter (eventually landing a few plays on BBC Radio London and winning a few music video awards!) and took up DJ'ing for a cool way to make money, keeping me near the dancefloor (I loved to go out) and fell in love with the processs. Taking over dancefloors in big clubs like Vodka Revs and Pryzm, to local Pubs and Bars. I found my way to the wedding circuit, where I now bring my deep experience across different genres to couples, with a personal and affable touch. Having done them for so long, I can advise couples on how best to approach the reception musically. Especially if British-Mixed couples want to please a range of guests.
In my personal life I'm into fitness, politics and business - and of course, my family!!!!
