It all began in 2016 with a man named Jim and his mobile gin van, Genevieve, as they journeyed across the UK.
Fast forward to 2026, and Jim & Tonic has blossomed into a thriving, sustainable urban spirits distillery nestled in the heart of East London, as well as multiple venues, and a fully dedicated events team, all working in harmony to deliver exceptional experiences.
We are proud to have catered to world-class events such as the Concours of Elegance, Affordable Art Fair, Pride of London, Big Feastival, RIAT, Velocity F1, Winter Wonderland and Windsor Great Park, to name just a few.
Our diverse array of mobile bar services, including pop-up bars and mobile bar vans, is designed to cater to events of all sizes and styles. Our hassle-free, turnkey solutions are highly customizable, ensuring they seamlessly fit any event space or theme, providing a unique touch to your celebration.

Such a fun addition to our day!
We couldn’t have asked for a better addition to our wedding reception than Jim & Tonic. From the moment it arrived, it became a real focal point and added such a fun atmosphere to the afternoon. Their setup looked fantastic. They made sure they blended beautifully with our venue.
The personalised gin cocktail options were a huge hit with our guests. Being able to tailor drinks to suit different tastes made it feel really special and thoughtful, and the quality of the gin and mixers was great.
The service was exceptional throughout — friendly, professional, and efficient, even when the bar got busy. If you’re looking for something unique and memorable for your wedding or celebration, we can’t recommend Jim and his van enough. It truly elevated our day and created an experience our guests are still talking about.

Best day of our lives
We honestly cannot recommend Jim & Tonic highly enough. From start to finish, they were an absolute dream and played such a huge part in making our wedding day at the farmhouse at Redcoats , Hertfordshire completely perfect.
The bar setup looked incredible and fit our venue beautifully, adding such a stylish and fun focal point to the day. The team were friendly, professional, and full of great energy — exactly what you want on your wedding day. Nothing was too much trouble, and they made both us and our guests feel so well looked after.
The cocktails were a massive hit (we’re still getting compliments about them!), beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. It was clear how much care and passion goes into what Jim & Tonic do — the quality, the service, and the attention to detail were second to none.
So many of our guests commented on how brilliant the bar was and how it really elevated the whole experience. It added such a fun, relaxed vibe while still feeling special and premium.
If you’re getting married in Hertfordshire (or anywhere else!) and considering Jim & Tonic — book them. You will not regret it. They helped make our wedding day truly unforgettable, and we’re so grateful to have had them as part of it.

The best day of my life...
I contacted Jim & Tonic to find out about hosting our wedding.
I'll admit I'd gone into full bridezilla mode, but the events team were patient, informative and really made me feel at ease from our first interaction.
I was certainly not an easy client for them, but I never once felt that any of my questions or requirements were a burden to any of the team.
I can honestly say that Jim & Tonic went above and beyond to understand the vision I had in my head and then ensure that my vision was replicated on the day.
From start to finish, it was a seamless process, and throughout the event, the staff were friendly, helpful, and the food and drinks were next level. Our guests were raving about this for ages afterwards.
William and I chose the Jim & Tonic mobile bar Roobee as part of the experience, and it was honestly one of the best decisions we made. Roobee (such a cute name for a mobile bar, by the way) was such a great addition; it was a very unique touch, and all of our guests commented on how it really made our wedding that much more memorable!

Our Wedding Got Roobbee-fied!
We used Jim & Tonic’s mobile bar, Roobee, for our wedding day and it was absolutely fantastic! It brought such a nostalgic feeling to our celebration, and our guests were super impressed. The staff were so much fun and added a real buzz to the day—it was wonderful having them there.
The whole experience, from booking to the event itself, was a pleasure thanks to the Jim & Tonic team. If you want something different, unique, and memorable for your event, I would definitely recommend getting in touch with them to explore their bar vehicle options

Loved it !
The Jim & Tonic team were incredible from start to finish for our small and intimate bridal shower. The girls had a fantastic time, and the staff were amazing. The cocktails were delicious, though perhaps a bit too appealing for some! We loved them so much that we’ve already booked them for the wedding!

Simply wonderful gin bar, perfect for our wedding!
Jim & Tonic were amazing from start to finish. They provided us with a personalised & fun service, and we felt like nothing was too much trouble. The drinks were top notch, the staff fantastic, and we received numerous compliments from our very happy guests. Would not hesitate to recommend Jim & Tonic!
