I originally left the following review on Google and, after receiving the company’s response, I feel it is important to share my experience on other platforms as well.

My fiancé and I had been considering purchasing our wedding rings from this company for quite some time. I followed them across social media and was impressed by their online presence and engagement. We even entered one of their competitions and won tickets to the National Wedding Show along with a complimentary groom’s ring.

When we attended the show and introduced ourselves at the stand, nobody appeared to know about the competition, which made for an awkward experience. We were told more information would be provided during our already-booked consultation.

During the consultation, Prem was knowledgeable and the rings themselves were beautiful. However, we were left feeling that certain offers were being presented as exclusive to us, only to later receive promotional material containing the same offers. We also felt the complimentary groom’s ring we had won was dismissed rather than discussed constructively, leaving us feeling that the prize itself held very little value.

Despite these concerns, we proceeded because we genuinely loved the rings.

The biggest issue arose with my partner’s ring sizing. During the consultation and again at handover, my partner repeatedly expressed concerns that the ring did not feel right. On both occasions, these concerns were dismissed and we were reassured that it was simply because he was not used to wearing a ring.

Within hours of wearing it, his finger became red and uncomfortable. When we raised this concern, we were advised there would be a charge to alter the ring. We subsequently sought advice from an independent jeweller, who advised the ring required a significant size increase and additional work to correct it. As a result, we incurred further costs to have the ring made wearable.

Following my Google review, the company posted a lengthy public response disputing aspects of my experience. Whilst they are entitled to their perspective, I stand by my review, which accurately reflects our experience as customers.

What has disappointed me further is that since leaving my review, I have found that I have been blocked by the company across all of their social media platforms. As someone who followed and supported their business for a long time before becoming a customer, I find this particularly disappointing. Constructive criticism and genuine customer experiences should be acknowledged professionally, even when they are not positive.

To be clear, the rings themselves are beautiful and I never questioned the quality of the craftsmanship. My concerns relate entirely to the customer experience, the handling of the sizing issue, and the way our feedback was dealt with afterwards.

For those reasons, I would NOT recommend this company.

I got the best service price and most beautiful ring I could have asked for I would highly recommend this company to any one I know. 10/10 brilliant service. Many thanks for my ring. It was made to a high standard and was great that it only took 3 weeks. Will definately use them again in the future could not be any more perfect.

I was very nervous about ordering a diamond ring over the Internet. However the service I received from je t'aime was outstanding. Great communication, great price and amazing quality. A 5 star service that you would expect from a top London jeweller, with Internet prices.

I have purchased my wedding rings from Je t'aime and the quality of the rings is second to none - The service was fantastic they were very patient with me as they had so many stunning designs it was hard to choose -The value is amazing and I would definatly recommend this company to anybody looking to make a purchase.
