The London Academy of Dance

Lorena Savvidou began her dance journey at the age of three, training in ballet and earning RAD (Royal Academy of Dance) graded qualifications up to Intermediate Level. She later expanded into Jazz and Contemporary dance, competing internationally at prestigious events such as the Expression Concorso Internazionale Di Danza – IDA and Terpsichoris Erga, where she received multiple awards across Contemporary, Jazz, and Basic Dance categories.

While completing a BSc in Mathematics and Statistics and an MSc in Project Management, Risk, and Finance in the UK, Lorena’s passion for dance and fitness never stopped. She continued her professional training under Greg Gillespie, ISTD Fellow and British Dance Champion, at the London Academy of Dance, gaining her IDTA (International Dance Teachers Association) teaching qualifications in Latin and Ballroom (Rumba, Samba, Cha Cha Cha, and Jive). Her expertise also extends into social Latin styles, with a Diploma in Salsa under world-renowned Fernando Sosa, a Bachata Sensual Diploma with the style’s creators, Korke y Judith, and Salsa Cabaret Acrobatics certification from Karen y Ricardo.

Alongside her dance credentials, Lorena is a Level 3 Certified Personal Trainer, certified Pilates and Barre instructor, and holds further qualifications in ante- and post-natal exercise adaptations. As both a teacher and a mother, she is especially passionate about supporting new and expecting mothers, helping them to stay active and safe during every stage of pregnancy and beyond.

Georgia Damalidou began dancing at the age of seven and quickly rose through the competitive dance world, taking part in some of the most prestigious championships around the globe. A three-time reigning Greek Champion in Latin and Ballroom, she represented Greece internationally for many years, earning numerous first-place awards.

In 2017, Georgia achieved her Master Certificate in Argentine Tango, followed by her Associate Latin American degree with the World Dance Council (WDC) in 2018. She is a fully qualified teacher, preparing students for both amateur and professional exams as well as competitions.

Since moving to the UK in 2021, Georgia has gone on to represent England in international competitions, reaching the Top 35 at the 2023 European Championship. Alongside her competitive career, she leads classes and private lessons in Latin, Ballroom, Argentine Tango, and Contemporary dance across the UK and abroad.

Lolita Laav is an international choreographer and stage director with over 13 years of teaching experience across Europe. She has worked in Germany, Spain, Canada, and the UK, bringing her creative vision and unique style to dance studios, theatrical productions, and live performances.

Her dance journey began at the age of 3, and by the age of 5 she was already performing on stage. From early competitions to international showcases, Lolita has built a career rooted in artistry, performance, and passion. Today, she continues to compete at an international level while sharing her expertise as a teacher, choreographer, and creative director.

Over the years, Lolita has choreographed for a diverse range of projects:

• The “Miss Region” competition (2013, Ukraine)

• Choreographer for the first run of Eurovision Song Contest Kids (2014, Kyiv, Ukraine)

• Children’s and youth groups including Red Roses & Jam (2011–2015, Ukraine)

• Young children’s dance programmes at the Palace of Culture (2015, Ukraine)

• Latin dance instructor at BTK College of Design, Berlin (Germany), as well as private lessons and competitions across Europe

• Meditation and movement workshops in Bali

• Wedding choreographies, influencer collaborations, and performance shows in London (2022–2023), including choreography for music videos and elite couples

Her expertise spans group choreography, theatrical ensembles, couple dance productions, and wedding showcases. Lolita is especially renowned for her wedding dance creations — known for their uniqueness, elegance, and emotional depth — which leave couples and audiences with memories to treasure forever.

Every class with Lolita is more than just a lesson — it’s an experience. Students leave with a smile, a sense of growth, and the confidence to shine on the dance floor. Her international background, charisma, and emotional artistry have inspired dancers worldwide. With her, dance becomes more than movement: it transforms into a story, a celebration, and a memory that lasts a lifetime.
