Yvette was a superstar!
So professional from the start.
Flexible with times as we could not do weekdays
Came to our home and we felt comfortable throughout the process
Edited our music to match the dance
Took us from stepping on toes to a full choreographed dance piece in just 3 hours.
Could not recommend Yvette enough! -

The best decision I’ve ever made!
Private dance lessons were the best decision I’ve ever made. The lessons were fun and gave us both something to enjoy before the wedding. Yvette taught my partner who really can’t dance how to not only Waltz, but spin me and even do fun lifts! Now every chance he gets he’s showing off his skills. But the absolute best is that our wedding dance was truly incredible, we felt confident and we still practice our dance today. Yvette is the best instructor I’ve ever worked with. I recommend her 100x over -

The best dance coach!!
In the run up to our wedding, my fiancé was really nervous about our first dance. As someone with no dance background, he wanted to feel confident and enjoy himself on the day. We got in touch with Fran who provided a 90 min dance class for both of us. She was absolutely fantastic - encouraging, patient, and adaptable to our level of dance experience. Because of her, we were able to enjoy a great first dance routine on our wedding day and our guests loved it too! I can’t recommend Fran enough - thank you for all you do!!! -

We booked Yvette to help us create a first dance for our wedding, and it was one of the best decisions we made! We both had absolutely no dancing experience (two left feet!), but she was so encouraging, lovely and made everything so much fun. She created a beautiful choreography to our chosen song and taught us step by step in our living room—those lessons became one of our favourite parts of the entire wedding preparation.
On the big day, we felt confident, comfortable, and genuinely enjoyed every moment of our dance. We couldn’t have asked for better. Highly, highly recommend her! -

We can’t thank Fran enough for her dance lessons! We had enthusiasm but zero dance knowledge and we put our full faith in her to work some magic with us, which she absolutely did ✨
Over multiple lessons she taught us the basics and seamlessly turned the simple steps we’d learned into a routine a million times more impressive than anything we could have put together ourselves.
We had so many compliments on our first dance, it was choreographed enough to feel elevated but relaxed enough that we still felt like ourselves and were able to enjoy it on the day. The energy was so high when we went into the final lift with all our family and friends cheering, and it’s a moment from our wedding day we’ll never forget 🥰 -

Fran is an incredible teacher! She made the most of the time we had together at our home. She helped both of us to feel confident in what we were doing and we both absolutely loved it! When my fiance hurt his back just before the wedding she gave us 3 extra options to adjust the dance - going above and beyond! Would absolute recommend her to anyone thinking about making their wedding day extra special. -

What does a 52 year old groom to be say to his wife after she jokingly suggests we do a ‘Bridgeton’ style first dance?
Hell yes he says and books dance lessons with The Next Step and the awesome Yvette. We met 6 times we laughed a lot at my terrible abilities with actually getting through a routine, my lack of interest in lifting my gorgeous wife to be and of course we learned to an actually dance.
I enjoyed every session and will always remember the joy we both shared as we completed the dance with me spinning around carrying Tatiana in my arms with confetti falling and huge whooping and clapping from our guests.
This was the best idea Tatiana had and the most fun and I am so glad we did this. So much we repeated the dance at the top of town in public after eating sushi.
Thank you son much Yvette. You were incredible, patient and we loved working with you. Huge love and thanks -

From the start, Yvette was amazing with us, made us come out of our comfort zone and ensure that we think of everything. What is doable, what is not and how we should face the public. She guided us and put together a choreography that was perfect for us! Totally recommend her!! All the guest commented that was part of the highlights of the wedding! -
