Hi, I'm Kathrin, but most people call me Kat.
I've been part of Saffire Chocolates since I was 14. My gran founded the business in 2005, and I joined her in 2012, learning everything from handcrafting chocolates to creating beautiful gifts for life's special moments. When she retired in 2023, I proudly took over the business and have continued her passion for creating luxury handmade Belgian chocolates.
One of my favourite parts of what I do is helping couples create something truly personal for their wedding day. Whether you're looking for elegant wedding favours, personalised chocolates, or a unique gift for your guests, I love bringing your ideas to life. From the colours of your chocolates and packaging to personalised names and messages, every order is handcrafted with care and attention to detail.
I know how important every little detail is when planning a wedding, so I'm always happy to work with you to create chocolates that perfectly complement your special day. I can't wait to be a small part of your celebrations!
Hi, I'm Harry, the Trade Manager at Saffire Chocolates.
I've been with Kat for the past five years, and throughout that time I've become more and more involved with the business. When we first started dating in 2020, I'd spend my evenings and weekends helping out however I could. I'd pack orders, serve customers in the shop, take truffle boxes home to build, fold menu cards, and even bring Kat a coffee when she was still making chocolates late into the evening.
I've been lucky enough to be involved behind the scenes too. I helped build our original chocolate kitchen in the outhouse and, more recently, I've helped transform our new production unit into the home of Saffire Chocolates.
As the business has grown, so has my role. I'm now learning the production side of chocolate making, from creating products to experimenting with new flavours alongside Kat. It's been brilliant learning the craft and seeing first-hand the care and attention that goes into every chocolate we make.
More recently, I've taken on the role of Trade Manager, where I focus on growing our wholesale side of the business. I enjoy building relationships with new stockists and introducing more businesses to Saffire Chocolates, helping us bring our handmade chocolates to even more people across the UK.
