WTF Cards & Illustrations is run by Lincoln-based artist and designer Claire Harrison, who specialises in live wedding guest illustration and bespoke watercolour wedding artwork. (Travel up to 1.5 hours each way is included.)
Claire personally creates every illustration by hand, bringing a relaxed and creative experience to your wedding day.
Live guest illustration is a unique and interactive way to entertain your guests. During your celebration, Claire paints beautiful watercolour portraits live at the event, which guests can take home as a personal, hand-painted keepsake. Portraits can be created with or without facial features, depending on your preferred style.
With over 30 years of professional design experience and a lifelong love of illustration, Claire is known for her loose, modern watercolour style and friendly, approachable presence. She blends naturally into your day while guests enjoy watching their portraits come to life.
Claire also enjoys experimenting with slightly different illustration styles. You may notice that some portraits are a little looser or more detailed than others — this is often a personal stylistic choice and part of the charm of hand-painted artwork. Claire is always happy to be guided by each couple’s preferences so the illustrations reflect the style you love most.
Alongside live illustration, Claire also creates a range of bespoke wedding artwork to add personal touches throughout your wedding journey:
Guest Painting Sign-In illustration, such a special way to capture your day 🤍
A hand-painted piece of your choice — whether that’s your venue, the happy couple, your wedding party, or something meaningful to you.
It’s beautifully presented with a large white mount and displayed on the day for all your guests to sign ✍️ Then afterwards, once everyone’s left their messages, it’s finished with glass — turning it into the most personal keepsake you’ll treasure forever.
A little bit different from the traditional guestbook… and a lot more you 💫
• Venue paintings – perfect for using on wedding invitations or stationery, and later framed as a beautiful keepsake of your venue
• Bespoke illustrated greetings cards – ideal for asking special people to be part of your big day, or for thank you cards afterwards
• Hand-painted illustrated place cards – created in advance as a personalised guest favour. These can be a more cost-effective option for larger weddings while still giving every guest something unique to take home
Every couple and every wedding is different, and Claire works closely with you to ensure each illustration reflects your style, your colours and your day.
If you're looking for something a little different that combines entertainment, artistry and meaningful keepsakes, Claire would love to be part of your celebration.

Hi, I’m Claire, the artist behind WTF Cards & Illustrations.
I’m a watercolour illustrator with a background in design and a love of creating relaxed, joyful artwork for weddings. When I’m not painting, I’m usually fuelled by black coffee, listening to music, and working with far too many glittery paints.
I love the sea, sunshine, family time, and my dog — and I’m not a fan of milk (in anything), winter, or taking things too seriously. On a wedding day, you’ll find me calmly painting, chatting with guests, and soaking up the atmosphere while creating meaningful, hand-painted keepsakes.
Hi, I'm Perry.
I can usually be found causing mayhem. When I'm into things I shouldn't be, mostly food! You will find me snuggled up on mums lap overseeing her painting....
Don't worry she never brings me to any events - apparently I can't be trusted!
