The First Putt, an entertainment business in Preston, Lancashire, specialises in bringing the mini golf course to your wedding day.

We are a family business based in Whittle-le-Woods, Chorley, and we offer the fun-filled experience of setting up a medium to large-sized mini golf course at wedding venues across Lancashire and beyond, which can be enjoyed by all.

All our holes are hand-made and custom-built to get the most fun from one of the most enjoyed activities in the country.

How it works: You can secure your booking with a £100 deposit. The remaining balance is to be paid at least 72 hours before the booking. Due to the unpredictable British weather, bookings can be cancelled up to 72 hours before the scheduled date, which would result in a loss of only the deposit payment. Any remaining balance would be refunded.

On the day, we will set up the course in the pre-allocated space. The holes and equipment will all be on display, ready for use. After set-up, our staff will not be on site, as there is no management needed. Our staff will then return at the allocated time to collect the equipment.

Damages: A £50 damage deposit is also needed on booking. This will be refundable 48 hours after the event. In the event of any of the equipment being lost or damaged, the £50 will not be refunded.

Packages: Our set packages can be seen on our main profile. Custom packages are available on request.

The Holes: Our mini golf holes come in two sizes and can be connected in any combination to create longer or shorter holes:

- Long Thinkle: 1.8m (Length) x 1m (Width)

- Short Thinkle: 1m (Length) x 1m (Width)

We would recommend choosing the size in accordance with the space available (we can provide guidance - Max 2 Thinkles per hole). All our holes can be walked on for a more authentic feel, but obstacles must not be walked on.
