Meet the team
I’m Georgia, and I’m the one who keeps everything running smoothly behind the scenes at Williams & Rose. My background is in finance — I’ve worked in practice, industry, and my last role was as Head of Finance for a national charity. These years of experience mean I handle the admin, planning, and organisation side of the business… but my true passion has always been creating.
That love of making really came to life when David and I built our home. From there, it only grew — especially in the lead-up to our wedding. We couldn’t find what we wanted, so we made it ourselves. From hand-crafted details to custom builds, it was all about creating something that reflected us as a couple. That’s what sparked the idea for Williams & Rose: helping other people bring their own unique vision to life without settling for “off the shelf.”
These days, I get just as much joy from the creative side of what we do as I do from the spreadsheets. I’m happiest when I’m surrounded by fabric, sketching out new designs, or putting the finishing touches on custom pieces. At home, that often means sewing outfits for our two little boys or reupholstering furniture to give it new life (because I can’t resist a good transformation project!).
For me, Williams & Rose is all about the details — those small, thoughtful touches that make a prop, backdrop, or build feel truly special. Every project is a chance to combine organisation, creativity, and craftsmanship… and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
I’m David, and I’m the one who brings the tools, technical know-how, and a little bit of problem-solving magic to Williams & Rose. My background started in electrics — I trained as an electrician and went on to gain an HND in Electrical and Electronic Engineering. From there, I worked my way up to senior MEP manager for several large construction companies, managing complex projects and teams. But at my core, I’ve always loved building things with my own hands.
That passion really came to life when Georgia and I built our home from the ground up. It gave me the chance to combine my technical skills with creativity, and I haven’t looked back since. I love taking an idea, whether it’s a giant LED prop or a one-of-a-kind custom build — and figuring out exactly how to make it happen. From wiring intricate lighting to precision carpentry, I thrive on the details that turn an idea into something show-stopping.
When I’m not in the workshop, you’ll usually find me tinkering with new tools, working on DIY projects for our home, or building things for our two boys (who are always coming up with their own “big ideas” for me to bring to life!).
For me, Williams & Rose is about more than just making props — it’s about creating pieces that feel personal, well-crafted, and built to last. I take pride in knowing that everything we make isn’t just functional, but finished to the kind of standard I’d want in my own home. If it’s worth doing, it’s worth doing properly — and that’s the approach I bring to every single project.
