Lilleshall house & Gardens, our wedding day 😊
Myself and now my husband searched everywhere for a venue dresser and found this business on Hitched, we decided to use Sian’s Special Occasions for our special day, they did an absolutely brilliant job, we had full venue dressing, including Aisle decor and styling, and full dressing for our wedding breakfast, the finished results was breathtaking! All of our guests commented how beautiful it looked.

Frederick Sent on 25/09/2026Disappointing Deposit Deduction and Poor Communication
Initially, communication with Sian was very good, and the team was welcoming when we visited their warehouse. However, our experience became disappointing.
The welcome sign supplied for our event had my name spelt incorrectly, which I chose to overlook. We had also paid a refundable £150 deposit and were told deductions would only be made if anything was damaged or went missing, which seemed fair.
After the event, we were informed that £45 would be deducted for cleaning stains from the carpet. This was surprising, as a carpet used at an event will naturally be walked on and should normally be cleaned between customers.
They claimed they had instructed a member of the hotel staff to ask us to remove the carpet during the reception. However, Sian had our contact details and could have contacted us directly. When I asked for the staff member’s name, they were unable to provide it.
It therefore feels as though we have been charged for routine carpet cleaning rather than any confirmed damage. This has left us extremely disappointed, particularly after such a positive start. Based on our experience, I would advise customers to be cautious and obtain written clarification about exactly what the refundable deposit can be used for.

Thank you for your review an aisle carpet is used for the ceremony and ceremony only not to be eaten on and danced on for the whole event this was never discussed with us and was a brand new carpet only used once prior to you day , it was extremely dirty with food and stains as per pics sent to you , this had to be professionally cleaned as due to all the stains this was out for another wedding a few days after yours , as for the welcome sign we just copied and pasted the names for the welcome sign , we both hope you had a great day -

We used Sian and Ian to style and dress our wedding venue, and it was one of the best decisions we made, and we can't thank them enough! We wanted a theme that felt deeply magical and a little bit fantasy, using a black and ivory colour scheme. They executed it perfectly and completely transformed the space into something enchanting, seeing it on the day took our breath away. What made the experience even better was how brilliant they were with communication. We messaged them with questions and various things, and they were always quick to answer and nothing was too much for them. They are extremely professional, creative, and easy to work with, and genuinely care about your day.

amazing company
we found this company when ours cancelled on us and we are so glad we went with sians special occasions! even better than the company we was origianlly going for. done our church and venue to perfection and just how we wanted our day. we can not thankyou enough honestly. highly recommened this company, also you see what your actually getting and how your day will look. thanks again from the bottom of our hearts. Sian and her husband was absolutely brilliant from start to finish. Myself and my husband had no idea what we wanted and they were both brilliant at showing us around the showroom and helping us piece everything together. Perfect wedding decor
Sian and Ian were very helpful and answered any questions I had they were lovely. The wedding decor on the day was perfect everything that I wanted and I didn’t need to have a package I could pick and choose what I would like. We can’t thank them enough for the lovely job they did on the day. I would highly recommend! -
