I'm Connie, the face behind Wit & Wonder Ceremonies. I'm a wedding celebrant based in Manchester, Greater Manchester, UK, and I'm here to put the love, life, and laughter back into your wedding ceremony. I'll work with you to create a funny, moving and memorable ceremony that reflects your relationship, your personalities and your love for each other.
As a classically trained actor, standing up and performing in front of large crowds is second nature to me, and means you won't have to worry about me not being heard at the back. The five years I spent as a wedding venue coordinator before I became a celebrant also means I can help you with any wedding planning questions you might have along the way. Need supplier recommendations, wedding day timeline tips or family drama advice? I've got you covered. I'm basically your own personal wedding guru!
I'm available to host your day as well! Once the ceremony is done, if you'd like me to stick around and make sure your day runs without a hitch, round up your family for the group shots, shepherd your guests around the venue, and give you the kick-ass introduction to the room that you deserve, then ask me about my Ceremony & MC/Host package.

From the moment we met Connie we knew she was EXACTLY who we needed to make our ceremony and day perfect ! We booked her for her MC package and she was amazing from start to finish - we still have people who come up to us this day and say “that Connie lady was brilliant wasn’t she?!”

She put together the perfect ceremony of us, a complete and total love letter to us as a couple and the journey we’ve been on, that had our family, friends and us in tears (of joy obviously) from start to finish. She helped us write our own vows, gave tips on planning for the day for things we hadn’t even thought about yet and was never far away with a funny gif!

Tropical disco like no other
Connie created a ceremony that was funny, sweet and emotional all in one. Connie had our guests all warmed up and whooping before I walked down the aisle and then took us on a trip down memory lane reminiscing on our relationship, she made it such a relaxed and joyous environment. We had so many of our guests coming up to us throughout the day saying how much they loved it and how different it was to anything they had witnessed at a wedding.
We were so thrilled with our day and Connie is so lovely and easy to get on with. Five stars all round!

Everything we hoped for and more!
In the months beforehand, we had trips to the pub, alongside Zoom calls and WhatsApp messages, where Connie gave us so many great ideas about what our ceremony could be like. She added added a huge amount of fun and magic to the build up and planning stages, to make us forget about other elements that were becoming stressful. She even joined us for an evening of Disco Bingo at our chosen venue, to help get an idea of who we were as a couple and what the feel of the big day should be.
We honestly cannot recommend Connie enough to other couples. She is immensely thoughtful, a very talented writer and an extremely confident and assured presence, who will immediately put you at ease when you stand up in front of your guests. On top of everything else she was a great friend throughout, and booking her was easily one of the best decisions we made. 10/10!
