Connie has been an absolute superstar from the moment we met her. We first met at the Gorton Monastery wedding fair, and despite having never heard of celebrants we instantly knew we wanted her to be a part of our wedding. We booked her straight away and from that day on wedding planning felt significantly smoother and manageable.

Connie is warm, chatty, thoughtful, incredibly knowledgeable, and endlessly helpful. She supported us in planning the day, arranging vendors, and was the ultimate hype girl when I bought my wedding dress- in fact she was one of the only people to see the dress before the big day!
When planning the ceremony we met for lunch to go over everything. Connie took the time to really get to know us and learn our story. As a result of this our ceremony felt so personal, warm, and US. It was heartfelt, funny, and completely unique. So many of our guests have since told us it was the best wedding ceremony they’ve ever attended and our family and friends all loved her too. She took the ceremony from being the legal bit that can sometimes drag to being one of the highlights of the day. Something I loved was knowing Connie would be there, not just a random registrar, but just having her in the room took the stress out of us, things were in control, someone we knew and trusted. (Sorry registrars!)

We didn’t just have Connie for the ceremony, but also hired her to stay for the rest of the day as our MC and wedding host, something we highly, highly, recommend. She was an incredible organiser, seamlessly managing all the little details we might have missed: hyping up the crowd for our entrance, adjusting music for speeches, coordinating the confetti, and so much more (some of which we probably don’t even know she handled!). She also dipped out for the first kiss photo and put my veil back in swiftly when it fell out haha.

Where to start with Connie.

From the moment we met her at a wedding fair, we booked her on the spot. We hadn’t seen reviews, we didn’t need to. What we did know is that she was the right person to tell our story. Connie was the first vendor we booked for our whole wedding, and we chose our wedding date around her availability. Best decision we’ve ever made.

Connie took the next 18 months getting to know us, as a couple and as individuals. And we got the pleasure of getting to know her in return (an added bonus). She was always on hand with a host of knowledge on weddings, what to do, where to go, and what you need - topped off with a comical gif. We wouldn’t have been able to plan a wedding without her.

When the day came, she was truly in her element. Our ceremony was filled with energy, love and laughter. The warmth, joy, delicious wit, and wonderful personality we had come to know in Connie was shining and the whole room felt it.

A Wit & Wonder ceremony is unlike any other, it bypasses the grey suits and scary legal fanfare of a registrar and instead focuses on what really matters - the couple committing to each other. The whole ceremony was so personal to us and our guests were really engaged throughout.

All day, and after, friends and family kept coming up to me and saying how incredible she was and how amazing the ceremony was. A direct quote from a couple of engaged pals: “We’ll be having Connie”. Everybody loved her as much as we do.

We chose to have Connie as our celebrant but we also upgraded to her day-long package so she could be there on the day to help co-ordinate and we can’t recommend doing that enough. She had worked with most of our vendors previously and had a great working relationship that made things go smoothly so that we could spend the day enjoying ourselves with loved ones. The whole thing went seamlessly, how many couples can say that?

Choosing Connie as our wedding celebrant was, without a doubt, one of the best decisions we made for our big day. She wasn't just amazing; she was absolutely perfect.
From the start, Connie was so friendly and warm, making the entire process feel personal and relaxed. Where to even start! Connie did the most incredible job. She really got to know us before the ceremony (which was great because she's a fantastic human to be around) and it really really showed. A lot of our guests asked us if she was one of our friends because of how personal the ceremony was and how she described us down to a t!
We hired her for the whole day which was a brilliant decision because she really kept the vibe going from getting guests swinging their napkins to just fitting right in!
I honestly do not have the words for what a perfect job she did but if I had to do it all again I'd hire her a thousand times over

We booked Connie as both our celebrant and MC because we loved the idea of one person guiding the ceremony, speeches, and first dance introductions. But Connie turned out to be so much more than that. She delivered a ceremony that struck the perfect balance of sentiment and humour—so much so that my mum said she couldn’t believe someone who hadn’t known us for 10 years could tell our story so beautifully!

Connie supported us every step of the way, both in the lead-up and on the wedding day itself. She reviewed our timeline, recommended suppliers, helped us with our vows, and was always there to listen when things got overwhelming. On the day, she went above and beyond—fixing our audio guestbook when it stopped working, sewing me into my dress, pinning a bridesmaid’s dress, and constantly running around supporting guests and the venue team. She was Wonder Woman! I am a type A person but I could relax completely because I knew Connie had things in hand.

We were nervous about getting married, but by the time the day came it felt like we were meeting a friend at the end of the aisle.

Connie was the celebrant and MC at our wedding. We were able to craft our ceremony to represent us- with drinking whisky from a quaich even playing rock-paper-scissors to decide who should do vows first! Not only did she perform an impeccable and beautiful ceremony, but she made sure the whole day was hassle-free and an incredible experience. Connie was as enthusiastic as any guest, but so professional- as the go between for suppliers, venue and us. Ever available all day for last minute questions and tips.
On the run up she got to know us thoroughly, as reflected in her incredibly personal ceremony. She made everyone laugh and cry and we had so many comments about how wonderful the ceremony was. We cannot recommend her enough to anyone who wants a unique and timeless wedding.

Having a celebrant was amazing! Not only did Connie arrange an amazing ceremony for us, but she kept us on track through the day, acted as our toastmaster and revved up our guests! We can't imagine having anyone else there with us on the day. We had so many comments about how amazing she was! :-)

She has been a fountain of knowledge and a pillar of support, truly going above and beyond throughout our entire wedding planning process. Unless you do this professionally, planning a wedding is hard, but Connie made it all so much easier with her wealth of knowledge, awesome vendor recommendations, thoughtful advice on the order of the day, and simply by being there to listen. She’s been our biggest cheerleader, celebrating with us when we hit key milestones or finally tackled something we’d been putting off!

And of course, she delivered an absolutely amazing ceremony.
She told our story in such a beautiful way that had everyone laughing, smiling, and even tearing up with joy.

She was with us the entire day and helped things run so smoothly behind the scenes; from helping the photographers gather family and friends for photos, to ensuring the music and entrances were seamless and full of energy, hyping up the crowd when needed, supporting our vendors, and being a go-to person for guests. Thanks to her, we were able to fully relax and enjoy ourselves without a single worry.

If we ever need a celebrant again, Connie will be the first person we call, and we truly cannot recommend her highly enough.

She put together the perfect ceremony of us, a complete and total love letter to us as a couple and the journey we’ve been on, that had our family, friends and us in tears (of joy obviously) from start to finish. She helped us write our own vows, gave tips on planning for the day for things we hadn’t even thought about yet and was never far away with a funny gif!

We are so pleased we met Connie at the start of our wedding planning.
