Based out of Llandovery, Carmarthenshire, in southwest Wales, The Alternative Celebrant specialises in offering alternative, heartfelt, and unique weddings and other celebrations. Owner Bernice Benton can perform at small weddings, elopements and vow renewals, or in-house in Llanwrtyd Wells at her guesthouse venue. Berni offers elopement and micro wedding packages to create your perfect, romantic, alternative celebration. Couples can enjoy glamping accommodation in a bespoke tepee in the garden. The service can be held in the tent or on the tree deck which can be decorated to suit your colour scheme.

Services Offered

The Alternative Celebrant offers inclusive services and performs ceremonies for to-be-weds seeking a unique and intimate experience. Couples booking an elopement or micro wedding package will receive two nights accommodation in the glamping pod and the renovated 1970s Eldis Caravan. They will also have use of the firepit and BBQ outside, as well as a range of optional extras such as wine tasting, creative experiences, and more. Berni strives to help you to create the perfect, intimate, sustainable, and affordable celebration of love and unity.
