Chris was amazing from start to finish, from the day I booked Chris, he was informative, helpful & friendly! Our zoom calls with Chris was always plain sailing and a pleasant experience.
We first met Chris on the day where he come and spoke to me and my husband both separately which we really both appreciated! it put us both at ease for the ceremony.
The ceremony was both humorous and emotional, Chris put together a beautiful ceremony catered to what we wanted.
I would recommend Chris to everyone he was an absolute pleasure to have on our day.

We were so lucky to have Chris as our wedding celebrant. From the very beginning, he was incredibly professional, responsive, and easy to communicate with. He guided us through the whole process with such calm and confidence, which really put us at ease.
On the day, he delivered a beautiful and personal ceremony that truly reflected us as a couple. So many of our guests commented on how lovely and heartfelt it was.
Chris was also great value for money—his service went above and beyond our expectations. We couldn’t have asked for a better celebrant and would absolutely recommend him to anyone looking for a warm, reliable, and talented professional to lead their special day!

Chris is fantastic!
We used Chris as our celebrant in March. From the first point of contact with him, nothing was a problem. He offered a free, no obligation consultation and was not giving a hard sale speech! His communication leading up to our wedding was perfect. Regular zoom meetings were arranged to discuss our requirements and he always checked in on us to make sure we were ok. He offered pre written suggestions or was able to support with writing personal vows if you wished. He also offered a personal reading, which was an extra touch during our ceremony.
These scripts were sent to us throughout the meetings to ensure that the content was correct and we were happy with the order or service.
We couldn't recommend Chris enough to those who are looking for a celebrant.
None of our guests realised the ceremony was any different to that of what a registrar would offer. However, Chris' prices are reasonable and incredible value for money forthe service he offers. Thank you Chris! Alex and Rob

Absolutely perfect!
Chris was absolutely wonderful from start to finish! We are so pleased we had him with us for the lead up to and on our special day. He guided us with vows and readings and his advise was invaluable. We were both so nervous and he really helped put us at ease. He even took some photos of our venue before the ceremony and they are among our favourite from the day. We couldn’t recommend him more! -

We feel so lucky to have found Chris at Civil Weddings to conduct our wedding ceremony in September.
His communication was excellent right from our first enquiry and he even met with us for a coffee in person to talk about how we wanted our ceremony to go.
We were looking for a Celebrant who could provide a service as close to a legal ceremony as possible but we also wanted to include our own vows.
As a former Registra, Chris was able to offer the professionalism of what you'd expect from a "legal ceremony" but also made it personal for us. He even provided suggestions for readings, looked over our vows and made suggestions for us.
We felt very looked after - Chris even made sure he came to see us both individually on the morning of the wedding and after the ceremony took photos, which he sent through to us, which were lovely.
We'd definitely recommend Chris from Civil Weddings to every couple. He really did put us both at ease and we loved that he was a part of our special day. -
