There are no words to describe how fantastic Sue really is. From the moment we met at a wedding showcase we knew no matter where our wedding was going to be we had to have Sue there! We couldn’t have asked for a better celebrant for our wedding. From the very beginning the support, guidance and genuine care we received made the whole process seamless and stress free. Sue explained every step from start to finish. Our love story was magically turned into the most personal and precious ceremony, the attention to detail was second to non! Sue travelled to our beautiful wedding venue Runa Farm in County Durham the night before to ensure she was there and ready for our big day. On the day itself everything was delivered perfectly. The ceremony was beautifully written, heartfelt and captured us as a couple in a way that made everyone feel our raw emotion. So many of our guests commented on how it was the best ceremony they had ever witnessed and that was thanks to Sue and her professionalism and elegance.
Prior to the big day we held a rehearsal where Sue not only guided us through the ceremony process but also helped with our first dance & the amazing dip kiss!
We are incredibly grateful and would whole heartedly recommend Sue to any couple for someone who goes above and beyond to create something unforgettable and truly personal to you. Every ceremony is unique and built with unmatchable effort, the passion Sue has for her role is undeniable!
We will never be able to give enough thanks for making our day absolutely perfect!

Sue was truly off the scale for how professional, amazing & caring towards giving us an absolutely perfect wedding ceremony.
All the care she took to knowing everything about us, our story especially what makes us such an amazing couple.
We felt so at ease with her to a point our nerve disappeared & we knew any hiccups Sue was there as an absolute angel to give us the support & calm we needed.

Sue was our celebrant for our wedding ceremony on 30th May 2026. We met Sue at our wedding venue during a wedding fayre, we had no prior knowledge of what a celebrant was and were fascinated to find out that our wedding ceremony could be performed in a much more personal and special way. We decided to book Sue straight away and it was the best decision we ever made. Sue is a former Registrar and so was able to fully guide us through the legal process and then of course conducting our personalised ceremony. Sue checked in with us often and gave us lots of advice including best posture for wedding photographs and she even helped us with our first wedding dance where we practiced how to move together in an elegant way. All our wedding guests commented on how lovely our ceremony was and felt it was much more special and meaningful than the "bog standard" weddings they'd previously been to. When we were planning on getting married at Ringwood Hall hotel, we asked about a celebrant. Sian, our wedding co ordinator, without hesitation recommended Sue, and its abundantly clear why.
From the very first e mail we sent Sue, she was totally engaging and made it clear to us that she would love to help make our day special. Which she most certainly did !
We booked Sue in plenty of time, for us almost 18 months prior to the wedding (you need to, she gets booked up quick!).
A couple of months prior to the wedding we sent Sue a summary of how we met, details of the proposal and what we like about each other. A couple of weeks after that we had a video meeting with Sue where she introduced herself and through chatting to us, got an understanding of our story and what she could add to make it a special day. We then worked on our vows and sent them to her. Straight away we just knew it Sue would make it a special day.
5 days before the wedding we met Sue at the venue to go through everything. It was lovely to meet in person and we felt at ease immediately. Sue gave Kathryn a beautiful sixpence to wear in her shoe on the day (which she did). Sue went through everything, leaving no stone unturned, reading us what she had written, (which was beautiful ) and showing us where to stand, how to stand, how to hold our hands showing our rings for the best possible photo opportunites. Sue had printed out our vows to read, in a lovely card and also taught us the famous " dip kiss" and even checked our moves for our first dance. Looking back now this was invaluable preparation for the big day.
On the day itself Sue looked amazing, wearing a sunflower corsarge to blend in with our theme. Sue took the tthe time to talk to me (groom) before the service, making me feel at ease, and took a little video of us both.
Before we knew it, it was time for Kathryn to walk down the aisle, and when the music started and I saw her it made me go weak at the knees.... but.... I knew all was going to be good thanks to the preparation and support Sue had given us. Sue read her story, which we have been told by all our guests was wonderful. She really picked out the best bits of what we had previously sent her, and make it a fun and engaging listen. The exchange of rings and signing of the register were flawless....... as was the dip kiss , which we had practiced. And then we were married.....Sue gave us a beautiful box containing the story of us she had composed, our vows, and our signed certificate. She then just blended into the background, taking some photos and videos which she will send on to us later.
We wanted our day to be special and remembered forever, and having Sue as our celebrant gave us just that. So many people told us after, how beautiful the service was, and how brilliant Sue was... we would have no hesitiation in recommending Sue to anyone who wants a fantastic Celebrant to be part of their wedding day.

Couldn't have asked for more!
Sue was great! Exactly our type of person and I knew it after only 20 minutes of speaking to her for the first time. She made our ceremony feel incredibly personal and fun, capturing our story perfectly.
She looked flawless, matched the wedding colour scheme with her outfit choice and brought a warm, charismatic energy that kept everyone engaged.
The Love locks - were a beautiful, standout memory.
Sue went above and beyond: During the rehearsal, she even gave us first dance tips that saved our nerves when the time came! (And made us look like we knew what we were doing).
She didn't just officiate; she made the ceremony. We couldn't recommend her enough.

Celebrant ceremony
Wow!! We would not have been able to do our wedding day without Sue. From start to finish she was incredible. She compiled the most beautiful story summing up our relationship perfectly. The ceremony was personalised, professional and such a special part of our day. We would recommend Sue to anyone! She went above and beyond for us, remembering the little details, drying tears and little words of support and encouragement. The best in the business! We are so grateful.

We cannot recommend Sue highly enough. She was professional, kind, informative, reassuring, and made our day so special and unique.
With a few bullet points about our life together so far she created a beautiful love story that she shared with our friends and family during the ceremony along with delivering a beautifully unique love lock ceremony (bespoke to Sue and her ceremonies). Sue also gave key advice for during our ceremony to help keep us relaxed and make sure our photos could be captured perfectly (even down to hand positioning!). As a celebrant rather than registrar, we were not restricted on time, stressed by paperwork, or bound to formalities that didn’t fit our personalities and how we wanted our day to look and feel, it was truly personalised and to top it off, Sue looked fabulous, ensuring everyone in our ceremony photos and videos looked like a part of our wedding… she really does consider every last detail. Thank you Sue, we’ll be forever grateful for your part in our special day! -

From the moment we began planning our wedding, we initially opted for the traditional approach of booking a registrar to conduct our ceremony.
However, during a visit to a local wedding fayre, we had the pleasure of meeting the wonderful Sue. She introduced us to a world of possibilities for creating a ceremony that truly reflected us as a couple. We were captivated by the idea of her retelling our unique love story as part of the ceremony — even before discovering the beautiful concept of the Love Locks. The symbolism of two heart-shaped locks physically joined together perfectly represented the love and unity at the heart of our marriage.
From our first meeting, Sue immediately put us at ease. She arranged Zoom consultations to answer all our questions and met with us a few days before the wedding for a rehearsal. This thoughtful preparation gave us a clear picture of how everything would unfold, allowing us to be fully present and enjoy the day itself. She even shared her expert tips for perfecting the iconic “dip kiss” — something we would never have mastered without her guidance!
When the big day arrived, everything ran seamlessly. Sue’s calm and reassuring presence set the tone for a truly unforgettable ceremony. Our family and friends were moved by the heartfelt story she shared, with both laughter and tears as we exchanged our vows and celebrated the start of our married life together.

Sue was recommended to us by our wonderful wedding photographer Martin, and we’re so glad that we followed his advice, as Sue was absolutely amazing and instrumental in helping make our ceremony and celebration so special and everything that we’d hoped for. Even just a few minutes into our first meeting with Sue to talk about our wedding plans, we felt calmed and reassured amongst the stresses of wedding organising, and like Sue was really taking the time to understand us and our story. She was brilliant at keeping us updated with her progress in crafting a beautiful and completely personalised ceremony and blessing for the two of us, and when the day of the wedding came, all her hard work and expertise was clear for all to see and hear. The ceremony was perfect, poignant, and relaxed, and with all the traditions from both our families and cultures effortlessly woven in thanks to Sue’s expertise and professional.
We were so incredibly lucky that our entire day was perfect and everything that we’d dreamed it would be, and Sue was an instrumental part of that. On top of her being a fantastic celebrant, she is a wonderful person, and we can’t thank her enough for her kindness, support, and reassurance during the run-up to our wedding.
