Alex has a rare skill of being able to talk about you like she is a friend, and considering the wide variety of celebrations that she does, I don’t think that skill was just personal to us.
We live in Australia but had the wedding in the UK, so all our correspondence was online, but she managed to just ‘get us’ and absolutely nail the brief. We wanted something funny but also that told our story with emotion. She spoke about us like she’d know us for years, such a talent for someone who has spoken to us for a couple of hours in total.
We found the process in shaping our wedding to be so effective and thought-provoking. Whilst it wasn’t something we went for, we could have had a ceremony that included sand, hand tying or ring warming, there were so many options you could choose to make the ceremony personal.
Our guests all remarked that Alex’s ceremony absolutely embodied our personalities and set off the day on the right track, which was relaxed, fun and loving. Even the wedding-dubious groom (who doesn’t like attention) immediately asked if we could use Alex again when we renew our vows!

No other celebrant will do!
Alex created the ceremony for our wedding, and we just loved everything she did!
We met with her several times, online and in person, and found her easy and fun to work with.
The final product - the ceremony - is only the culmination of the wonderful service she provided. The process of creating it with her was not only inspiring and loads of fun, but it also guided us through a mental preparation for getting married, with some deep thinking and reflecting on what marriage means to us, and what we value in each other.
She's a great listener, gathering nuggets of information and phrases she hears to weave into the script. We had a few ideas for rituals to include in the ceremony and she was really supportive, helping us to make them work and giving advice based on her past experience. She incorporated several of her own ideas into the script that we would never had thought of but absolutely loved. So many of our guests - from the grandparents to the young children - loved the ceremony, saying that they found it moving, original, engaging, and even funny sometimes.
On the day she took control brilliantly - making everyone feel comfortable and confident. She left us with a beautiful folder containing the script, certificate, and the questionaires we had both done for her about each other - it'll be something to treasure.
Definitely highly recommended for a wedding, and I am sure she would be a wonderful choice of funeral celebrant too.

Alex has been absolutley wonderful with us, from our first meeting to every little thing she did to help plan our ceremony & it couldn't have been more perfect. She took great care in planning our ceremony, going over every detail and every little story we mentioned making sure not to miss anything. She even went as far as watching a trilogy of our favorite movies to incorperate it into our ceremony and to help with our vows!
Working with her has been such a pleasure and though the time was short by the end of it, it felt as though she had known us both for years! This especially came through in her ceremony and how she told our story. Her style and approach to planning and execution is very unique and how she was able to make every one of our guests feel very welcome and included in the ceremony helped make everything that much more personal.
All of our guests loved the ceremony and Alex as well and have said on multiple occasions that it's one of the most unique and best ceremonys they have attended.
At the end she has given us a beautiful folder with all of our ceremony's notes and details, our vows and her own wedding certificate, it's something that we'll always treasure. It's a shame to now have finished with her but we'll always be very fond of her because of how special she made our day, you can feel the love and effort she put's into this for each couple and we could not reccomend her more!

After a huge disappointment with my church, Alex came to the rescue and everything else was history. From start to finish Alex made our wedding the most amazing ceremony! Everyone made comments about how different, personalised and how it was just an “us” ceremony. Such a talented lady and we already miss her!! -

On the 29th December we had the pleasure of Alex leading our wedding ceremony. It was amazing from start to finish, Alex really understood who we are as people and told our love story perfectly. We thoroughly enjoyed working with Alex and would highly recommend her as a celebrant for others.
