Hello, I’m Onie. I am a Celebrant offering beautiful, relaxed, inclusive Marriage and commitment ceremonies.

I celebrate love in all its wonderful forms. I believe in creating ceremonies that are centered around the wishes and values of the couple involved. As an Agnostic, I welcome people of all faiths and none, those who perhaps consider themselves spiritual but not religious, and those who don’t know what they believe.

Ceremonies can be funny-sweet, deeply meaningful, sincere and timeless, gentle and thoughtful. Your ceremony can unfold over a wedding wander or a hike in the hills, or in one or more of your chosen venues. All locations are welcome - from family gardens and grand hotels, to secluded valleys and mountain tops. I am based in the Scottish Highlands and happy to travel.

I pour my heart into every ceremony I co-create and my goal is always to provide a creative, friendly, insightful service that is tailored to your wishes. I really take the time to get to know you and, over a period of several weeks or months, will work together with you to craft a uniquely beautiful ceremony for you. I plant a tree for every couple as part of a Trees For Life rewilding project in the Scottish Highlands.

I’m pretty outdoorsy, and relaxed in all settings, and I enjoy meeting new people. Clients describe me as calm, thoughtful, warm, grounded, joyful, sincere, friendly, insightful and light-hearted. I’ve been a celebrant since 2012, and absolutely love it.

Wherever and whatever you choose, it is my great delight to help you lovingly craft a ceremony that is all you wished it to be. Every ceremony I lead is distinctly personal, and it feels great as a celebrant to say “Yes! Let’s do what you want to do… it is your ceremony!”
