Hello! There's one big advantage in having a former TV presenter as your Celebrant - you can be sure everyone at the back will be able to hear! But joking aside, I've been lucky enough to share the most important moments of many people's lives in my job...so I know exactly how to support you through this exciting and sometimes stressful time...I can share a lifetime of wisdom and experience (and my sense of fun!) to make your wedding journey easier and more relaxed.

It's scary entrusting your precious ceremony to someone you've hardly met... so this is me: I live in Manchester and have three grandchildren and two scruffy dogs. I write plays and short stories. I love adventures and have sailed round Cape Horn, taken trains across Europe to Istanbul, photoraphed wildlife in Africa and have visited the most northerly point on earth. China is my next destination in 2026.

Inviting me to help create your special day and lifelong memories is a huge privilege - you’re welcoming me into your life. So it’s really important for you to know that whoever you are, however you live your life, whatever your background and beliefs and whatever your relationships..I truly love that we're all different and I promise to reflect your values in all my ceremonies. Oh - and did I mention we'll have fun too?

Whether you want something small and intimate, traditional and romantic or a big occasion…whether you dream of getting hitched under the stars, or in a tank of sharks, together we’ll create an unforgettable ceremony for your perfect day.

Everything I do for you is unique to you as a couple, so I would suggest:

- We start with a friendly online or in-person chat (absolutely no obligation, I promise!) so you can decide if I’m the right person for you.

- If you think we're a good fit, let's plan a simple timetable that works for you. At your convenience, you tell me all about yourselves and your dreams so we can create an amazing ceremony to reflect your personalities and your life experiences.

- Once you’re happy with my script for your wedding, you can be absolutely confident I will conduct your ceremony with the warmth, joy and professionalism you expect - I know how to deliver an amazing show on the day!

For your peace of mind, I never charge more than £500.00 in total...normally a lot less. If you decide I'm the Celebrant for you, I ask you for a £50 deposit, which guarantees I will be your Celebrant for the entire day - I never accept anything else on your date. My fee breaks down to £250 for delivering your ceremony on the day...and up to £200 (depending on complexity) for creating and writing it, with the balance payable immediately before I share the script with you. After that, you can ask me to make as many changes as you like.

Feeling the pinch? If you're on a super-tight budget and would like a more cost-conscious option, I can offer a pre-written ceremony with places for you to insert poems, readings or music that mean a lot to you - less bespoke but just as lovely - for £250.00 all in.
