Hello-and many congratulations!

I'm a trained celebrant, proficient in weddings, funerals, and many other services. After a career in teaching (as a high school music teacher), I love being part of your story and articulating this with personality and a personal touch.

I'm an experienced compére, toastmaster, public speaker and musician with a real ability to lift your day. I'm also able to provide live musicians if required.

As a well-known musician (mainly in the world of brass music), I am used to performing, conducting, and composing for audiences ranging from intimate gatherings to large festival crowds. I've worked with all sorts of individuals, from community groups and families to Gareth Malone, Rick Astley, and the Brighouse and Rastrick Band!

A Ceremony Full of Heart and Humour

We couldn’t have asked for a better celebrant than Leigh Baker. Having known Leigh personally for years, we already knew he’d be perfect—and he absolutely was.

Leigh brought a wonderful mix of warmth, humour, and genuine care to our ceremony. He took the time to understand our story and crafted a service that felt truly personal, relaxed, and full of heart. His delivery was flawless—he struck the perfect balance between sincerity and light-heartedness, keeping everyone engaged and emotionally connected.

Leigh made our wedding day special!

Leigh was incredibly well prepared for our ceremony, and confidently delivered a beautiful service. He put us at ease at a very emotional time, and made the ceremony run smoothly and effortlessly. He had researched every detail about the bride and groom, and our guests appreciated the information he provided. He is the consummate professional, and brought a wonderful sense of humour and lightness to our ceremony. He provided advice whenever needed, and he was always available to talk and discuss our wedding. I highly recommend Leigh to act as your Celebrant!

So much personality

We cannot recommend Leigh enough. We booked our wedding quite last minute and were incredibly lucky that Leigh was free. If you're looking for a thoughtful, enthusiastic celebrant - Leigh is your man! From the initial emails back and forth, information gathering meeting, to the video call to run through details the week before, and the big day itself, Leigh made us both feel totally at ease and even more excited for our big day. We loved the personal touches Leigh added to the ceremony like the ring warming ceremony and hand binding. We had so much positive feedback from guests about how brilliant he was! Thanks again Leigh- you truly made the best day of my life even more special.
