Hi, I’m Josh, the face behind The Cook Truck.
I’ve spent decades in kitchens, working my way through every level of the industry, from chef to sous chef, right up to head chef. Along the way, I’ve cooked for just about every kind of event you can imagine…from intimate private gatherings to full-scale weddings, packed-out festivals, and everything in between.
What I’ve learned over the years is simple; great food is only part of it. What really matters is creating an experience people remember.
That’s where we’re different.
I don’t believe in “one-size-fits-all” catering. Every event is unique, and I genuinely love working with people to build something truly bespoke, whether that’s your favourite family recipe brought to life, a themed menu that fits your vibe perfectly, or just something a bit different that your guests won’t stop talking about.
Our team is built around one simple belief, we don’t just serve customers, we make friends. From the moment you book with us, you’re part of it. We treat every event like it’s a proper family occasion, putting the same care, pride, and attention into it as we would for our own. Whether it’s a wedding, party, or festival, we bring good energy, great food, and a genuine passion for making sure everyone feels looked after and leaves with a smile. We are an experienced team who share the same mindset, graft, attention to detail, and proper pride in what we put out. We’ve worked together across busy services, high-pressure events, and long days where consistency matters, and we always deliver.
For us, it’s not just about serving food.
It’s about creating moments.
