Tarby's SmokeHouse & Grill is a wedding catering company based in Uckfield, East Sussex.

Our SmokeHouse Event Catering service caters for a whole host of occasions, from posh weddings to sporting days, to festivals and corporate events. No matter the occasion, the constant is the quality of food and the service provided. Our happy, experienced, professional team will cater to your every need. For us, each event is unique. We may appear as graceful uniformed swans gliding across the water’s surface, but our little legs will be going ten to the dozen, ensuring every wrinkle is ironed out as we go, in order to make your event the best you could ever wish for.

A 'safe' and 'experienced' pair of hands, is what sets us apart from the rest. You may not have thought of something, but we can guarantee you that we have! From giant BBQs and grills on trailers, to industrial-style showstopping mobile meat smokers. From metre-wide paella dishes to bespoke Jambalaya stations that feed 400 people each, we not only own this equipment, we have designed and fabricated it so it is absolutely fit for purpose.

This is not about serving up cash & carry bacon, or flipping cheap burgers. This is about quality food that is prepared and smoked at our farm, in readiness for the magic to continue at our events. Our style of cooking is theatrical. We entertain the imagination, then feast the eyes and then the belly!

This is a passion, a labour of love. Our food incorporates an array of flavours that will get your tastebuds tingling. You will want to indulge time and time again! Ours is a 'low and slow' approach to the very best smoked and BBQ’d foods.

We discuss everything with our customers prior to their event. We listen, listen some more and then listen all over again. Once we have established your vibe and your budget, we will create a bespoke service and an enticing menu to suit your exact requirements and timing.

Whether we are serving you 'low and slow' brisket with grilled lobster in herb butters, or smoked turkey with cajun giant prawns.

We will provide you with oodles of options and oodles of passion. Whether we are setting up our equipment within our gazebos for cooking entertainment, or we are serving you smoked pork in baps from our catering vehicles, there is no menu and no event we cannot cater for, be it serving 70 or 700 hungry guests! Both our food and our service is of the utmost quality, and we can cater for most budgets and eventualities. As importantly, we are fun and engaging to deal and work with. Being approachable and agile in everything we do paves the way for a stress-free environment for our clients and our staff.
