From the beginning, Sarah was brilliant - so supportive and helpful. I have coeliac disease and was so glad to have found a caterer who took gluten free so seriously. We had a tasting at Hull Truck, then at the wedding had canapés, starter, main and night time catering from them too. Really pleased with the quality of food and service - wedding food can sometimes be a bit naff but we and our guests were absolutely blown away - everyone keeps mentioning it -

The food was absolutely incredible! Our guests still talk about the food at our wedding, the portions are huge and the staff are so friendly. It was simple to organise the menu, we had 3 meal choices plus a vegan option. They also catered for the children at our wedding easily. -

Look no further and book STB!
Shoot the bull was absolutely outstanding from start to finish! From seamless booking and communication, to super and smooth service on the day! The food was absolute 10/10 with a wide range to choose from, us and our guests will did not stop talking about our wedding menu! Absolute perfection from team shoot the bull! -

Shoot the Bull did an amazing job catering our wedding and they helped so much in the lead up to the day so we could really relax knowing we were in safe hands! The team are so friendly, professional and made our wedding all the more special. Everyone who came absolutely raved about the food and the servers were really attentive when it came to refilling platters. We opted for the sharing platters and they went down a storm- everything was cooked to perfection and it’s clear the menu has been really well designed. In the evening, we went for pizzas and again so many people commented on how delicious the food was. We would seriously recommend Shoot the Bull to anyone who is looking for wedding catering as our wedding meal still stands out as one of the best things about the day!

Best wedding food EVER
From start to finish, working with Shoot the Bull on our wedding catering was an absolute dream. Every member of the team was incredible in both the run up to the day and on the day itself to ensure that our food was perfect and our day ran seamlessly. Sarah was amazing at reassuring us during the planning process and her vast experience in the industry is evident in how she plans so meticulously, offering sage advice at every stage. During the planning process, no question was left unanswered and Sarah went above and beyond in her role to make sure we had the best experience. Dan and the rest of the team are incredible at what they do: the food was out of this world and the menus they have devised are equal parts unique and yet cater to every dietary requirement/ palette. Several guests took the time to let us know it was the best experience of catering that they had ever had at a wedding and although we are biased, we couldn’t agree more. Thanks to everyone at Shoot the Bull for making our day incredible! -

The food that Shoot the Bull did for us on our special day was A MAZE ING. The guests could not get enough and neither could we, we had decided to go with the grazing board option 1 for all of our guests and this was perfect meal. Everything from start to finish was exceptional, the layout, the service, not to mention the food, just kept coming and coming to keep every table topped up. So many compliments from the guests.
