We speciailise in marquee, tipi, barn / dry hire venues and understand the logisitcs involved very well. Our signature dishes are our sharing boards - we do these VERY well and customer feedback is 5*......
From lip-smacking canapes to mouthwatering sharing boards we create menus around you - we dont restrict to set menus.
We can accomodate dietary requirements as well - vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, and dairy-free options.

The best wedding food ever
We knew from the first call with P&B that they really cared about our wedding. Being a gluten free bride they made sure everything I could eat and enjoy so I wouldn’t miss out on my own big day.
Over the course of the weekend they catered a wonderful bbq the night before and the wedding meal on the day itself. Everything was perfect!!
Being a family run business you could tell they wanted to make our day perfect and they absolutely delivered. The team became a key part of our day and the staff were all so lovely and friendly.

They handled everything with effortless grace
The food itself was a true highlight. From the incredible canapés that delighted our guests (the pork one!) to the beautifully presented and delicious main courses (that lamb!!!!), every dietary request was accounted for and managed with ease. Our guests are still talking about it.
James & Henny made the entire process so easy and stress-free. Their menu suggestions were tailored perfectly and they handled everything on the day with effortless grace. We couldn't have asked for a better catering service. I highly recommend them. Thank you for an unforgettable day!

Paxton & Brown - My Newly Discovered and Now Favourite Caterers
They were professional, confident, helpful, sensible, they skilfully fielded our numerous phone calls, emails, texts (even quite late one evening) and assured us that everything was under control. P&B were a delight to work with. Even in the trickiest moments of preparation we had such a laugh.
OMG! What a magnificent magical day! Nothing was too much trouble for Henny and the team. The food was absolutely delicious - I’ve had so many compliments from people about the catering: canapés, sit down meal and then a table laid up with fabulous food again in the evening. Our wedding was on one of the hottest days of the year - Henny came to warn me and apologise that the main course might be 5 minutes late as the staff were struggling slightly in the heat - I was amazed that they were all still standing!Any food left over from the evening buffet was packed up by P&B and put in my fridge.
So, book them for your parties - but I feel you’re going to have to move quickly as they are becoming very popular because they are so amazing! I’m already trying to find another excuse to book them!
Incredibly delicious and professional caterers
Throughout the whole process they really helped us with any requests that we had, and catered for all the different dietary needs in such a way that everyone had a similar version of the main menu, without feeling too left out. Even very odd last minute dietary need they managed to fix without any hassle.
They were very communicative the whole time, especially running up the big day, responding very quickly even if late at night.
Initially we didn't know what we wanted, but after a conversation with James, he got to know us, our backgrounds, and what we like, he then came up with a delicious sounding menu right off the bat on the same phone. It really made us confident that we would choose them to be our caterers. The tasting menu they put together was so good, it was difficult to choose what our favourite was.
Overall we were very happy with hiring Paxton and Brown, wouldn't haven't changed one thing, and would be happy to work with them again in future.

Hello!
We are James and Henny - owners at Paxton & Brown Caterers.
In our youth we spent years running some of the best independent restaurants in and around the Bristol area, creating mouth-watering menus and hosting superb events for happy people.
We then decided to go it alone and created our own company offering fantastic food and service for wedding couples and their guests. Paxton & Brown is 100% independent and family run (our children will most likely be working at your wedding). Alongside us are our team who we can honestly say are THE BEST - all local, all wonderful, all friendly and all take pride in their work with us to bring you the best possible day!
