Your Guide To Wedding Catering In North Wales

Finding the perfect caterer can be a difficult task. Here's a quick guide to help you.

What Are You Looking For?

If you're struggling with too much choice, it helps to have a definitive idea of what you want. Decide on your ideal cuisine and how you'd like it served (buffet style, plated, stations, etc.) Also decide if you want beverage catering, and if so, do you want a cash bar, open bar, etc.? Do you want your dessert and wedding cake included? Most importantly, you should have a good idea of your guest numbers before you make a catering inquiry.

Make An Inquiry

When you've decided what you're looking for and made a list of potential caterers, it's time to start making inquiries. You'll need to know the number of guests you're inviting; the date, time, and location of your event; and what kind of reception meal you want. Once the caterer has this information, it will be much quicker for them to give you a quote.

Be Strict About Your Budget

Traditional catering can be expensive. In the UK, it may cost you anywhere from £30 to £100 per head. To ensure you don't spend too much, decide your budget before making inquiries and stick firmly to it. If you want something more budget-friendly, you could consider hiring food trucks instead. They offer simpler (but still tasty) food, and will only cost you around £15 per head or less.
